Welcome to the World of Chaos! A one stop shop for all your shenanigan needs!
What is this deck about you ask? Well it's simple really. Chaos. Complete. Chaos. So Chaotic even the deck building itself was chaos. No synergy, no method to the madness, just throwing in as many horrible cards as possible into one deck.
The goal itself is simple. Play 1-2 cards and watch everyone /facepalm. I can't stress enough, Whims of the Fates has caused more scoops from other players then anything else. Winning by default is still a very valid win.
Keep in mind, this is my first true deck where I made it completely from scratch. No guide, no previous deck list to choose from. Just simple research and chucking cards I found hilarious.
Small history of the deck
I played a group hug deck for a while and wanted something more...impactful. Sure giving everyone 12+ lands on turn 3 was fine...a tempting wurm is nice...but it was missing something special. Hive Mind and Eye of the Storm together was nice...but it wasn't enough for me. I needed more. I needed more options. More color! More Chaos! Thus was the creation of my child...Alara, the spawn of Chaos!
So before we dive into the deck, a heads up to those reading down the list, shaking their head and telling Steve to come look for a laugh.
The mana base and artifact mana is weak in this deck. This is a fun deck, and is a fairly cheap to build deck, as it should be. Also as said before, although I am more then open to suggestion on how to improve the deck, there is not a single plan on how to play this. You build up your mana and play whatever nonsense happens to be in your hand. I personally love the weak manabase, as it gives the game a go to build up before something horrible happens. What's the point of a Warp World on turn 3?
Oh and yes, pro tip. Flip a coin or roll a dice before deciding to play any card. Add to the already chaotic nature that is this deck.
Hope you enjoy the list. I made this post a while...while back ago but I couldn't figure out how to post the deck itself. Didn't know if the original thread was worth bumping or just remaking it.
That is a big collection of magic cards I do not want to see on a table. Thank you for the list though, I was looking for something like this but couldn't seem to find a lot of these cards. I didn't even know some of those artifacts existed. If I wanted to make this deck faster though how would I edit it? If this doesn't cost a lot I will for sure make this for fun!
