What is this deck anyway?
This is EDH Storm also known as Hand Combo. The intent is to keep everything possible as close to the chest as possible until it is the right moment to strike at targets who do not expect it.
Why Keranos?
In UR there are a bunch of Commanders that could fit in the spot but the God of Storms is the obvious choice beyond the thematic significance of the name (although if I am being honest that is a huge part of it).
-He is not flashy. People see either Niv or a Melek as the commander and they know what to expect immediately (now obviously this doesn't work beyond the game in which the deck wins but it is still fun to keep people guessing as to what the deck does)
-He is cheaper cost, 5 Mana is a nice number to stick a commander he comes out sonner than the three mentioned before.
-Works amazingly with Scry
-A nice attacker / blocker if he is ever alive (and with some of the mana intensive enchantments that is not hard)
How it Wins
Ghostly Flicker & Dualcaster Mage - These two cards together enable your entire hand and lands and any creatures(that don't require a tap) / artifacts in play, finding a way from that to win is usually not that hard. Even more fun to hit your Dualcaster onto someone elses Flicker and funny stuff happens.
Turnabout + Reiterate = Mana (Should be noted that because of Buyback this is the one of this group that will increase the storm counter)
Those are the easy ones however where the deck becomes more fun is when it wants to Storm which becomes something much different in a singleton format and much different without Grixis.
Most of the time the key piece is Past in Flames when combined with the alltheUrzas cards that untap lands and High Tide and/or rituals like Mana Geyser add in enough cheap draw a few spells to double the important ones and then depending on how far you get you have options.
Remand is in the deck in case a storm needs another go around.
The rest of the deck exists in redundancy of hand size, tutor, scry, draw and others as well as support in counter and removal and a selection of creatures to act as blockers (also most of the creatures in the deck act as bait for removal which means bait for mana)
It is a fun deck, that scouts the area waiting to pounce on everyone at the same time.
