So, this is just my multiplayer edric build. Runs a bunch of counters to protect the deck once it gets going, and has a bit more redundancy in win cons than most of the builds on here. Forgoes the all 1-mana man plan for some more utility and fun, plus a few of my favorite pet cards.
Riptide Laboratory -> Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx
Riptide Lab was a relic from running Venser in the Deck. At this point, the only relevant thing it returns is spellstutter sprite, but it has never, in any game, been relevant. Once I have the mana to bounce and cast, I'm also stable and in no need of more cards. Nykthos is another colorless base slot, so it doesnt skew my mana base too hard, but it acts as an (often stronger) Gaia's Cradle later in the game. It lets me sac islands to Walk the Aeons while keeping access to blue mana. Woo!
Sol Ring -> Bident Of Thassa
Sol Ring has been a mediocre accellerant early on, and late game Cradle, Nykthos, Repository, or Nature's Will can pick up slack for it. Bident adds more consistency to the deck if edric gets tucked.

Thada has, literally, never come down. Every time she's in my hand, I have better things to do with the 3 mana she costs. Heck, I dont even care for the random sol ring she can grab (in a deck of 1 and 2 cmc crap, it doesnt matter, right?). So, new, good counterspell replaces her. 21-no is now 22-no

I can actually help you with this, I recently finished an Edric deck and it's been very successful. Your list is very good by the way, very scary.
First of all, you want more creatures. 30+ creatures. The idea is turn 1 mana dork, turn play 2 creatures, turn 3 play edric, and swing with 3 creatures, draw three cards. You want the deck to be very fast. You really want to be sure you can play a couple creatures before Edric comes out.
Every creature should be CMC 1 unless it's very very good. Eladamri, Lord of Leaves is an example of a good creature. He protects your general, gives him forestwalk, and gives other elves forestwalk. Kira, Great Glass-Spinner is good for obvious reasons also.
Landwalkers are good, because in EDH you'll always be able to hit someone with them. Merfolk Spy and Marsh Boa are two solid examples. Willow Dryad is also good.
Sakura-Tribe Scout and similar cards are good because they allow for turn 2 Edric and they allow you to dump all the extra lands you'll be drawing.
I wouldn't run Faerie Conclave or any lands that enter the battlefield tapped.
I've tested Pendelhaven Elder and didn't really like it, he's sort of win more. Overrun is actually an alternate win con.
Torpor Orb is very good because we have very few trigger abilities and stuff like Massacre Wurm just wrecks is hard. Abjure is a really good counter, as is Foil.
I'm actually intentionally keeping it from being a 1-cmc swarm because I found it to be a wee bit boring. Besides, my meta is swamped with nonbasics so the landwalkers don't get through as often as I'd like. Many of the cards in this stack are pet cards/for fun more than for anything. The way I've always played it is to drop edric and 3-4 critters, then sit back on CA until i have enough lands to drop a few more dudes while holding back counters. I've never had serious mana issues, but I will be cutting both the conclave AND novijen, as neither brings anything useful to the table anymore. Thanks for reminding me
I also (sadly) am considering cutting the snake, as lorescale has been sub-par unless he comes out crazy early.
Also, I've got 32 critters, but I dont count azusa
Also also, I'm done foiling this deck out, excluding the fetch and the flooded grove. =/

Reasonings:
Thada Swap Above. Dont want to lose TOO many creatures, so replacing it with a counter/dude.
Pendelhaven has been win-more. Swapping for an evasive early drop.
Spell crumple hasn't been as useful as it could be. Swapped for the next best 2cmc counter.
Scryb and Lorescale have severely underperformed. Scryb's ability has never been useful, and lorescale is usually win-more. Two 1cmc removal spells feel like they might be more useful, but I will evaluate as I use em.
Cutting novijen down to 33 lands, because I can risk the land and adding a counter is more useful.
Conclave is just becoming an untap land, since I rarely activated it with any other manland out.

Psychosis Crawler is an alternate win condition.
Your mana base is pretty solid, but I think you have too many colorless lands, you want to ensure you can play Edric on turn 2 or 3. This is harder with lands like Winding Canyons, Alchemist's Refuge and Novijen, Heart of Progress.
