The idea for this deck is based on an "arms dealing" side of the King Maker strategy, involving arming an "ally" with creatures that he controls and equipment that I control. Mostly, these include the Mirrodin swords and any thing that I benefit from.
"Shield"
The Pillow Fort strategy seems like a great compliment to King Maker, my goal is to run as much as possible to bog down my opponents, making my well armed partner a prime threat.
I chose Zedruu because her ability is not immediately overpowered and instead requires some "charge time" to become broken. I also gain a temporary friend and can hopefully keep a low profile by not targeting my opponents directly and making it harder for them to land hits.
The deck has not been tested beyond gold fishing, suggestions for removal, substitutions and general comments would be greatly appreciated.

I have no idea why i didn't include Vedalken Plotter either. Play, swap, equip, donate... seems pretty good.
I'll keep Meishin, the Mind Cage as an "in case of emergency" card because it impairs my partner's ability to swing using my swords. Though it is definitely a consideration.
I'll probably add those suggestions soon, they sound awesome. come to think of it, Rite of Replication seems like an alright fit too. School's being a pain this week so it might take awhile before I commit any changes...
for the sword part i don't get. what are you doing?
I believe that the ruling on cards like Sword of Feast and Famine is that if I own the Equipment and it's equipped to another player's creature, that if the creature hits another player, I am the one who untaps the lands. This goes for basically all the equipment that I use.
I may actually remove the Mirrodin swords however, it makes me more of a threat once they realize whats going on. The other stuff may slide under the radar because they don't benefit me, they hurt our opponents.

Stuff I Want
More info coming soon...
Wild Research is a house.
If you find you often have fat hands, Meishin the Mind Cage works great in my build.
I think I love Wild Research in this, it also makes Sphere of Safety slightly more playable.
Thanks for the suggestions.
also rite of repped blightsteels run rampant in my playgroup, so this neutralizes that.

Otherwise Grafted Wargear would be the most absurd equipment ever.
EDIT: just reread your post, it's CONTROLLER, not owner. Big difference.
