I've played Malfegor since I first started EDH, slowly building it from a thrown together mess, to a relatively well built Red/Black reanimator, with a touch of voltron thrown in. At it's best, it's an almost unstoppable machine of reanimation and general damage that can dominate games. At it's worst, it's the deck that sits back, doing most of nothing all game, struggling for a comeback. A lot of the time it's the latter. It's got a lot of staple pieces, but a crappy architect.
Basically, I need help making my Malf EDH what I know it can be.
Avatar of Woe - Good spot removal, but could definitely be replaced with a better creature. Big Game Hunter - Same as Woe. Oversold Cemetary - Hasn't helped me much in many games/Not as good as Phyrexian Reclamation. Stalking Vengeance - Fun effect with an interesting Win Con if used with a hefty graveyard, Balthor/Living Death, and Damnation, but could possibly be replaced with something better. Triskelion - Key piece to Mike & Trike, but pretty useless by itself.
Have you considered any cards with Hellbent or Madness?
In a prior build of my Malf deck I used a bunch of madness cards, and a couple hellbent ones, and I found that they weren't all that useful. Most of the time the effects weren't as great as other cards, and hell bent is only useful if you have it on the field before you play Malf, as you should be trying to recover your hand after you ditch it. Not keeping nothing for some silly effect (I'm looking at you Anthem of Rakdos).
Probably the best of the Madness cards I've used is Big Game Hunter, which is actually why it's been in my deck for so long. Spot removal with a body is nice, even if it isn't an instant, and it's only one more cost then a kill spell, and one less then a normal kill spell if you madness it.

Library of Leng - Techs with Malf pretty well. Good if I want to not get rid of a major card like a reanimator spell or a tutor.
Yawgmoth's Will - Reanimator for my spells
Recoup - Anarchist without a body with bonus flashback
Puppeteer Clique - Great reanimator, especially if combo'd with Mikeaus, the Unhallowed and...
Phyrexian Plaguelord - See above combo
Gustho's Scepter - Kind of interesting hideaway for spells I don't want Malf'd, but I'm unsure of it's usefulness
Ambition's Cost - A better Sign in Blood in most cases, and a guaranteed 3 cards as compared to Syphon Mind's variance.
Dragon Mage - Wheel of Fortune when I deal combat damage netting me some dumped bodies into my yard
Knollspine Dragon - Graveyard dumping with an intense amount of card draw if used in tandem with Grave Titan's effect.
Charmbreaker Devils - Random Anarchist every upkeep along with an 8/4 for the turn if buffed.
Doomed Necromancer - Reanimation
Temporal Extortion - Either someone takes half their life or I get an extra turn. Probably going in.
