Taking one look at the deck you can clearly see the theme I am trying to accomplish; lots of tap abilities boosted by many untap abilities and defensive structuring through tap downs mind controls etc etc, I'm not trying to be mega cutthroat tho some infinite mana/draw combos do exist.
I am mainly looking for some advice about card choices such as how much artifact ramp/lands i should really be running because after recent editing i still only have 35 mana production lands and my land draws are "fairly" consistent but nothing to write home about. Should i still find room for a few more lands? what would i cut??
A card I'm a bit iffy on is skill borrower.. sure she can become an arcanis the omnipotent on turn 3-4 and that would be amazing , or a visara the dreadful or avatar of woe, or she could become a preacher and be able to steal any creature permanently or become a piece of any of the infinite combos quicker and has amazing synergy with Sensei's Divining Top but I'm still pondering over her.
I know board wipes are going to wreck havok on my game state and i am trying to over come this with things like havengul lich, oversold cemetery and after recent editing i have put debtor's kneel in (but I'm still unsure about this card) and of course necrotic ooze.
With so many tap/untap abilities I'm considering the usefulness of icy manipulator among the rest, it has clear synergies with royal assassin, norrit, oracle en-vec as well as locking down a general nearly indefinitely but it just might be overkill(?).
with so many creatures darksteel plate seems like a clear Inclusion especially with the synergy of stealing a creature with Mereieke Ri Berit slapping the plate on the creature and then untaping her just keep the creature and steal another with no draw back what so ever among other combos as well as the clear protection factor. But again this is another card that sounds great on paper but i am still a bit iffy about.
I tried to shy away from creatures with activation costs requiring mana as their re-useability via untaps is generally lacking or much too expensive to warrant their place in the deck or the ability just didn't seem like it held enough poignancy such as:
- (a bit too risky i think, giving cards to other players isn't exactly what i want) keeper of the mind - (read below) keeper of the light - (both keeps seem nice in a multiplayer situation but are probably just too week in general) lich lord of unx - (clear synergy with azami, but i considered blood line keeper a better alternative) magus of the disk - (absolute domination with darksteel plate attached) but i felt this contradicted my deck theme/style as i was just wiping my self of everything in my deck. mangara of corondor - (seemed very very nice for removing multiple trouble pieces at once but again him being exiled after one use even if he hit multiple permanents didnt seem like it had enough oomph, BUT i am still considering him) master healer - (seemed very very nice in supplementing my defensive board state but again i felt it lacking) samite elder - (seems nice, could combo with scuttlemutt if i put it in.. but meh) wake thrasher - (simple synergy, very powerful) solarion - (could be useful, but i think wake thrasher might just be better?) stormscape master - (decent card, mana cost on abilities shot it down for me) temporal adept - (very versatile, very expensive)
This is about as far as i have come with this deck, I would really love to hear what others have to say about possible changes/improvements i can make I would love some secondary advice!

You should read more than just the title of the forum rules thread.
It says that you should use the [ DECK ] [ /DECK ] tags (without spaces), and that you shouldn't double post.
I would suggest adding more lands. 32 lands is very light, even if you are running artifact ramp.
ya I have been thinking the same lately, tho I am having a hard time pinpointing what specific cards i want to cut.. any ones that stick out to you?

03/17/12 - Major Edits: so i have done some thinking and i have come to the decision that to fix my mana base im going to need to spend some extra money investing into the major dual lands, olds + ravs etc.. i have decided that edh will always have use for these kind of lands in other decks so its a fairly safe investment if i decide to build a different deck later on and as such here are my edits
All this is a significant $ advance for the deck but I feel its a generally good investment for EDH as a whole as most of the cards I'm putting in are EDH stables for color fixing lands minus Riptide Laboratory (but i always wanted an Azami deck anyway ) and its good in a lot of other decks as well
