Pending on metagame, I switch out five boardwipes/counterspells for ghostly prison-type stuff.
I admit it is an interesting build for Rafiq, and I may be better off with a different general, but Rafiq and I have a pretty healthy love relationship so far...
You have listed under "sorceries" a card called "Planar Rebirth," but that does not seem to be a card. Statistics tell me it probably says "destroy all creatures" or "destroy all creatures, which really might just be one Simic Sky Swallower," but I'm curious to know what it actually is.

Lorthos count:40 (1 foil) and I will always trade for more...
I would suggest Crystal Shard to re-use your EtB effects, and Greater Good for when someone wipes the board.
Well, when Rafiq is doing what it is supposed to be doing, I usually never need to retrieve creatures from graveyard. If I do, I use Sun Titan I also usually have only one or two creatures on the battlefield at any given time (and they're really small), so Greater Good most likely will not help me. It's an odd build, but it pulls through most of the time without me having to exploit eWit or other lovely Bant combos.
You could also add in a Yosei, the Morning Star as another flyer, but also a way to lock down your opponents creatures/lands, to allow Rafiq through without opposition. Sac the dragon on their turn, draw 5 discard 3, and make them lose two turns (in a way).
Oh, haha! I obviously can't read Crystal Shard. Now it seems much better, actually. Will consider, since I tried to turn all of my creature base into do-something-on-coming-into-play mode. Still not convinced on Greater Good. If I am at the point of desperation at which I will have to sac one of my kill conditions to draw cards, then I am probably losing anyway. I still feel that Greater Good needs more creatures in the deck.

You're nuts. Greater Good is insane. It's not so much that you NEED to sacrifice your kill conditions to draw cards it's more of a insurance against wrath spells. Basically in response to any board wipe or removal spell you sacrifice the creature to Greater Good netting you cards from a creature that was going to die anyways.
The card is just an absolute beast and saying otherwise is a crime.

Ok, it's a good card, but I can't run it effectively. Look at my sorceries and it should tell you why. It's because I'm the player that wipes. I run maybe eight creatures worth sac/drawing, so I'm going to replace something useful for something that may or may not ever happen?
Ok, I'm going to end the debate on Greater Good. Good card, beast, whatever. But still not for THIS particular build.
Unless you can think of a card that it can replace. That's right; none.
Not really. The exalted factor makes a whole lot of difference when you're attacking with rafiq in play. An extra 2 general damage isn't anything to scoff at.

But you're also keeping in mind my particular build, right?
No, you're not, really.
Also, I'm not sure how familiar with the EDH format (and this is not meant to sound like an insult at all), but as much as Hierarch is superawesome in standard-type decks, it is just as much replaceable in EDH.

Also, regarding Greater Good, these creatures would all draw you more cards than you would discard:
