I'm completely changing my old Glissa Ramp Deck which I wasn't playing at all, into something with more resilience and a lower curve.
The goal is to grind down the opponents resources, keep the board clear of opposing creature by using those tutors to get Dictate of Erebos and win through attack damage or Mindslaver lock.
How important is the ramp? the highest cost card is Sheoldred at 7. I run a lot of mana rocks but not any land search ramp. I just decided I'd rather draw cards than ramp mindlessly.

I've lowered the ramp count from what was posted initially from 8 to 6 cards, but my meta is pretty cut-throat and the decks are coming out fast so I need a little bit of it. Also they serve multiple purposes, they draw additional cards, can be used with Skullclamp, sacrifice themselves to activate Grave Pact or pick up an equipment and attack. I don't like mana rocks here because they only do one thing: ramp, they die to 2 of the wraths and even if you bring them back to your hand you still need to spend mana to recast them. Mass LD is not something I play against so rocks lose that upside. In general I see more artifact than land removal and you can put one of them into play for free every turn.
Thornbite Staff costs 8 for the first activation and with that in her hand Glissa won't stay on the field for long, 4 to re-equip is too much. I might try Viridian Longbow but I also feel like Glissa will be focused alot so I don't want to give them one more reason to do so.
I found a spot for O-Naginata, Trample is great with her and it's so cheap that I'm willing to let the Lifelink go and choose this over Loxodon Warhammer. Batterskull is already covering that part.
As for the lure effects, these are 2 equipments which are very good with Glissa but otherwise have little utility if she's not around, it's not enough to warrant a spot. If I free a spot for another equipment it would be Darksteel Plate.
Salvaging Station can bring a lot of value over time but I think the deck can do that through multiple synergy between the cards and keeping Glissa on the board. If I spend 6 mana for a spell I want it to be an immediate threat. If only Curse of Death's Hold was "All opponents", the synergy with the Orchard is nice and it would surely be good against this deck. But I'm not sure Commander sees a lot of x/1 that are not CIP value creature being played. I'm curious, how much influence over the game does it have when you play it?
I would like to see your list and what other grindy cards you're using.
I had a batterskull but I needed it for a modern deck, so I replaced it with the warhammer, I guess I could of proxied it like I did with the O-stone but meh.
It is very slow but its ok with that if your meta is more cut throat then this will probably be to slow, but then maybe you should be hyper ramping or reanimating or casting death cloud.
I am actually running a lot of the self sac ramp creatures you mentioned and I agree that they are good.
Well curse of death's hold kills off Prosh for example. If I have the curse out then I can just pick things in my graveyard back up agian over and over, you now control the recursion. There is night of souls' betrayal if you want to effect everyone. There are also some ways to leverage the fact you are giving people creatures for political and for neferous reasons.. I like giving people creatures for me to kill later.
I have a Birthing pod so I have more creatures than normal many with deathtouch allowing the staff combo to work with more creatures.

Any suggestions or comments are welcome.

My Trade Thread
I have the thornbite staff, viridian longbow "combo"
if you are going full on voltron you will want O-nagata and darksteel plate
Glissa is deadly with lure effects, grappling hook, nemesis mask you can wipe a board.
I also like loxodon warhammer trample with deathtouch is great.
My version is very very grindy and very bauble recursion focused and not voltron so I have a full salvaging station package and use Curse of death's hold + Forbidden orchard.
