So, it seems like no matter how many times I disassemble this deck, I always seem to come back to Wrexial as a potential general. I can't even count the number of times - and ways - I've built this deck, from reanimator to mill, discard, or just plain good stuff, I think this guy is probably one of, if not my absolute most favorite general ever. He offers so much versatility, it's hard to stay away. And now I'm back with yet a new build, this one more leaning toward U/B control more than anything else:
I have to say, this is probably one of my favorite builds of this deck ever. It has a little bit of pretty much every play style out there: Mill, control, voltron, reanimator... if you can name it, Wrexial can almost certainly do it. If my control strategy gets thrown off, then I'll suit up Wrexi and go for general damage. If that doesn't work, I'll switch to milling, possibly even myself to grab some reanimation targets. There's just no end to what this deck can do in any given game, so it's always a new experience, which is the main reason why Wrexial is definitely one of my favorites.
Why not dissipate instead of faeri trickery? Also forced march should be damnation .
Honestly, they're close enough to the same spell that it doesn't make much difference; not to say I wouldn't run both if I could find an extra copy of dissipate.
Same goes for Damnation... in a perfect world, it would be in here. Unfortunately, I can only work with the cards I have.:D
When it comes to Wrexi, I'm a fan of ensuring the damage gets through. His landwalk abilities certainly help with this, however I still pack Distortion Strike and Whispersilk Cloak.
I see you have Mask of Riddles in there. I had completely forgotten about that card. I'll be getting that card soon fo sho.
And while we are on the subject of unblockable creatures that get triggered abilites when doing combat damage, Sphinx Ambassador and Mindleech Mass make great partners in crime for Wrexi. The only small drawback here is that Mindleech can conflict with Stormtide Leviathan, but eh. I still run both

Anyways, I love the build. Kudos!
I actually had Mindleech in there for a bit, but always found him a bit underwhelming - any time I had him in hand, I never wanted to cast him, and there's always better recursion targets.
As far as the unblockability goes, between Urborg, Stormtide, and Dragon Wings, I almost never have a problem getting Wrexial through. Sphinx Ambassador would be awesome, I'm probably gonna look at picking one up at some point.
Telemin Performance is AWESOME in Wrexial. You're never sad you cast it. Five mana before a swing means you get a creature (and in EDH, the overall quality of creatures tends to be better, just pick your target carefully) and more stuff in the yard to nab. If you can resolve this against the most control-oriented player at the table, it's great - such decks tend to pack fewer, but better, creatures, so you'll not only nab something great, but you're more likely to put a bunch of cards in the yard, many of which will likely be good instants and sorceries. Believe me, this card is Wrexial's best friend.
I'm also a fan of Scion of Darkness - he's never a dead card, since he cycles, but he can go double-team with Wrexial really well. Wrexi grabs the spells, Scion grabs the creatures, and you're basically playing the game out of someone else's graveyard. Fun times.

Telemin Performance is an amazing card, I'm not sure how I forgot about it actually. Cards like that are usually the first ones that I think about for Wrexial, but it must've just slipped my mind when I was building the deck - I'll have to check and see if I have one.
As far as the Scion goes, it could be interesting, but I'd definitely have to look for one to trade for, since I know I don't have one. He is an amazing card, and would really fit the theme for my deck... I'll probably have to look into picking one up.

Well I think countering Faeries is a hate crime or something. Everything has to be so PC nowadays.
But I would probably just run both over Rewind.
