This is the First EDH list I've ever tried to write up. It's kind of an on going project, picking up cards here and there as I go. I'm building around Grand Arbiter Augustin IV because of his built in mana cost reduction, since most of the little combos involve recasting creatures from my hand over and over. After the deck list (which doesn't include lands yet), I'll explain some of my choices. Since this is my first attempt at an EDH deck I am open to any advice the board has. Thanks!
Many of my creatures have the innate ability to rescue or return other ETB abilities, and even themselves. Stonecloaker for reusable graveyard hate. Sawtooth Loon for repeated card filtering(note: costs WU while Arbiter is out) Dust Elemental can return itself plus 2 other creatures, enabling continues support for recasting creatures.
Why would you want to keep playing creatures over and over? For starters, Equilibrium and Tidespout Tyrant become tempo squashing machines when you can cast Whitemane Lion, returning itself to your hand in order to cast it again. Minion Reflector can double your output of EtB abilities and card advantage. Cards like Trinket Mage, Solemn Simulacrum, and Duplicant all love to be doubled. For recursion I have Sun Titan, Sanctum Gargoyle, Reveillark and Karmic Guide. Each of these enable others to reuse EtB abilities. Even Sakashima the Impostor, can be returned to the hand and replayed as any creature already in play. I have a lot of mana producing artifacts in here, mostly because replying cards over and over again will slow me down. The flip side to that is I should always be able to fill my hand with answers once the deck gets going.
Ok, that seems like a half decent explanation of what I'm trying to do here.
I'm looking for card suggestions and more combos that would fit with the overall theme of the deck.
