So this kind of has the theme of stealing creatures and using some pretty big ones to win. I wanted to go in a different vein as everyone else because I keep seeing the same huge creatures in all of the decks in my playgroup. Tell me what you think.
I have to say, unless you want to use combo-oriented material with Merieke (untap effects, etc.), I would use Sen Triplets instead. I just run WUB good stuff (slight stealing theme), and I'd never switch back to Merieke.
Yeah. It's mainly for 1v1. I am trying to use things for Merieke and tap/untap and blink effects to help her out. I can get my hands on an Ambassador. So far it works 70 percent of the time. I'm able to control the board and use Merieke to take their trump creature and stop their wincon cards with other spells. I'm working on getting Lightning Greaves and Thousand Year Elixir. I also run a lot of copy spells, so if I could drop a fattie for myself I could copy it. I was thinking maybe a Rite of Replication would help out too.
Im not a fan a lot of the bounce you are running. You're deck doesnt seem very tempo oriented so theyre simply gonna replay thier threats over and over. Also, whats your plans against the big generals right now? Namely Vendilion Clique.
This list has been changed. I've gotten rid of Snap and Recoil and replaced it with other things, mainly creatures to play. Also, I can just counter the Clique or take control of it. No one in my playgroup really plays it anyways. I'm adding the Elixir and Greaves to give her haste when entering. I think I'm going to pick up an Adarkar Valkyrie as well.
