For this month I decided to mess with time (read: schedule) a bit. Just a bit. I discussed it with Moss_Elemental beforehand, so don't worry, it's nothing too crazy. If you want in on the discussion on how to best proceed with my idea, sign up and I'll let you in on my secrets to time travel!
Due to a bottleneck I detected in the flow of time, judges will be required to be able to do a short post on either May 16th or 17th. Shouldn't take more than an hour though.
If you haven't judged before or it's been a long time since the last time, try yourself on this sample card:
Blast from the PastUR
Sorcery (U)
When you cast Blast from the Past, exile it.
At the beginning of your upkeep, if Blast from the Past is exiled, put it into your graveyard. If you do, it deals 3 damage to target player or creature. "Really should have seen this coming."
-Maran the Guard, last words
Note: This is not just a test for how well you can find errors and mistakes, but generally to test your arguing.

I'm definitely in. As I've already said before, I'm quite intrigued by this. If there are too many judges I can go back to playing, but I think I'd really prefer to judge this month.

• The two public custom sets I've been part a part of the design team for: "Brotherhood of Ormos" - Blog post with all info - set thread - design skeleton / card list || "Extinctia: Homo Evanuit" - Blog post with all info - set thread - card list spreadsheet
• "The Lion's Lair", my article series about MTG and custom card design in particular. Latest article here. Here is the article index.Rather outdated by now, and based on the old MCC rubric, but I'm leaving this here for anybody that might be interested anyway.
• My only public attempt at being a writer: the story of my Leonin custom planeswalker Jeff Lionheart. (I have a very big one that I'm working on right now but that's private for now, and I don't know if I will ever actually publish it, and I also have ideas for multiple future ones, including one where I'm going to reprise Jeff.)
As time changes, by moving forward, so must the MCC player as well. I would be more than happy to judge May. I most recently judged for November, 2016.
