Players compete in a blistering card creation frenzy across the planes of existence, locked in an intense battle to decide once and for all - who is the Multiverse's greatest planeswalker?
Welcome to the August Club Flamingo Game, Planar Chaos! This is a new game based upon the planes of Magic. The theme of this contest is a game of Planechase - players submit cards based on what plane they're on, and then they all PM the organizer a plane. Then, the planeswalker's spells face off in a public poll, with the bottom being overpowered by more powerful planeswalkers and the winner gaining enough power to move everyone else to a plane he or she desires.
This is round 5 of the planar battle, and more and more casualties are happening. Eventide Sojourner's Mindquake was able to dispatch many opponents, buying enough time to planeswalk to safety.
PsiJet keeps wandering around the Stairs, getting dizzy. Ever since arriving on this plane, he has lost his sense of coordination. Gerrard's Mom spies him endlessly walking up the stairs, and he decides to put PsiJet out of his misery. Gerrard's Mom uses his Unassailable Knowledge to conjure a spell to blind PsiJet. However, PsiJet narrowly sees this and calls up upon his Backup Plans, which makes him teleport away. Gerrard's Mom swears and resolves to finish off PsiJet.
PsiJet teleports to... lets just say, more danger. In the beginning, he directed the teleport to the ground floor of the Stairs, a choice he regrets now because that was made the main battlegrounds. He lands there and dodges a Cranial Dilapidation. He tries to run away, but Eventide Sojourner catches him with a Mindquake. PsiJet falls to the floor, holding his head and groaning. PsiJet then lays to the ground, his mind shattered.
queensauce's fate was more direct. His goal was to simply climb the stairs, thinking that he could escape the fighting. He got up quite high, but Random_Nation used his Selective Memory to find where queensauce was. Random then used his courier to fly to where queensauce was. The two exchanged some harsh words, then the fight began.
queensauce first used Infinity, shooting a bolt of book pages from his palm at Random. Random loaded his mind with combat spells beforehand, however, and was able to Dismiss Infinity, ending the streak of flying pages. Desperate, queensauce used Beyond to try to escape, but as he was casting it, Random_Nation used a spell to trap queensauce in a transparent bubble. Random_Nation snapped his fingers, and the bubble exploded in a cloud of flames, sending what remained of queensauce down, down below.
Polendino's Infinity Tome broke as he summoned it and was unable to cast spells. However, he managed to potential enemies by using the quantum mechanics of Xerex and escaped.
Eventide Sojourner, in the ground floor, faced many opponents, all who had their minds shattered. Confident that there was no one left, he prepared the planeswalk spell. A while later, the spell was finished - quicker than he thought - and used it.
A great transparent sphere began to expand, and expand, until it seemed to have covered the whole of the Stairs themselves. Eventide Sojourner was relieved until the Stairs started to crumble. Eventide Sojourner was immediately horrorstruck - his planeswalking skills weren't that great - and closed his eyes. However, nothing fell on top of him. He slowly opened his eyes, and a great black void appeared. "So this must be the Blind Eternities," he thought. He could see nothing for hours, and he began to get worried again - until a world appeared.
The plane that appears are the Izzet Steam Mazes!
