We're currently getting through incoming packages faster than ever, so I'd be surprised if you don't have confirmation by the end of today. I'd prefer to be more precise with my response though, so feel free to private message me your sell request number and I can dig into your exact case for the details on it.
Within maybe 30 minutes of seeing your reply, I got an email informing me of deductions to my total. Even though I won't have enough to order the booster box of Battle for Zendikar I originally wanted, I'll end up just ordering some singles I need for my Modern and Standard decks.
Glad they got to you as soon as they did! Feel free to request more information about the deductions if you wish. They are happy to itemize them for you upon request.

I just went on there to check and test to see if a cheaper shipping option seemingly exists anymore (even checked smaller purchase amounts), and .... apparently not. At least not through the normal checkout options. I suppose you could contact them and ask them if it would be possible to choose a cheaper option direct through them outside of the listed checkout options, but that's hard to say on that one. I wonder why the change though. I can understand items with a certain value or something not wanting to ship them via USPS, but to remove any cheap shipping option (Like First Class Package with tracking (and even insurance if they wanted)), just seems like a bad idea. Honestly if I were looking for $20 in cards and I was told I would have to pay $8+ for shipping, I would probably look elsewhere too. I can only hope that its simply a mistake that the first-class package option was removed or isn't showing up, otherwise I suspect it could lead to SCG losing a lot of business on smaller purchases.
Blade of Selves and Command Beacons perhaps? I've been after them since yesterday on SCG. They were both 99 cents for a time yesterday. Today they got reposted at $1.99 for the Blade and $2.99 for the Beacon. I snagged 5 blades but the restock of Beacons were sold out again in about 20 minutes.
Shipping was $2.24 for USPS first class to ship 7 $1.99 cards to Florida 5 minutes ago. Sure you saw all the options?
Both of us checked and both of us saw the same thing at the time of each of our postings and that was no USPS options, all it had was the UPS options and free pickup options, that's it. I did just check now, and it is now showing the USPS options as well. My guess is that someone at SCG probably noticed the error and fixed it in between Galspanic and I's initial checking, and when you checked it and posted. Glad to see it fixed though.

Regarding the weird issue with shipping, this is the first I've heard of it. After looking at our records though, it appears that no one was able to select USPS for about four hours on 11/7. I'll be speaking to our developers about this today.
I'm interested in buying a large collection of bulk rares. I want to start a local website selling bulk rares to casual players. Tell me can a deal be made with regards to shipping? If an effort can be made to have some sort of discount on the shipping I'm willing to buy hundreds if not thousands of bulk rares in 2016.
I'd like to support you store as I think your quality of service is simply superb but the shipping cost are killing me.
Shipping rates primarily depend on the weight and destination of your order. The weight for wholesale orders adds up quickly and international shipping rates are much higher than domestic rates, sadly. And since these items are already being listed at wholesale prices, we usually can't offer a further discounts of the items or shipping. Bulk orders shipping internationally are always going to be costly. Additional options may be available for considerably large orders, so feel free to email us if you are interested in more than 5,000 rares in a single purchase.
I have now made a good few orders (both sell and buy) over the last month or two and I must say you all are amazing. The prices are a little on the high side but within reason. That aside your customer service, and speed of which you process and send off orders is really amazing. Keep up the excellent work and thanks, it doesn't go unappreciated by me.

Is there an issue?
I'm likewise unable to view any pages on the SCG site other than the main page.
Yup, their website is down. All you can see is just the cloudflare always up site memory page of the front page of the website. Hopefully they will catch the issue and get it fixed up soon enough (Could be Monday though possibly due to the holiday weekend.)
About a year ago I took a trip to Charlotte for the GP that was there (Modern). At some point in the weekend, I believe it was a Saturday (not entirely sure what exact day) I took a stroll to SCG's "booth". I say "booth" because it was seriously like 10 booths in one formed in a circle at the center of the convention center. I had about 3 binders worth of bulk rares and a standard deck I was itching to ditch to pick up cards that I could use. So I sat down with one of SCG's buyers and bulked it all out. I can't remember exactly how much I got for everything but it was around 300$ credit. I decided it would be best to get something that would be difficult for me to get back here in Arizona. So I decided on a blue dual. That blue dual was a volcanic island. I asked about the different prices based on conditions and the price wasn't that much different between all of them so I asked for just the best condition from revised. I got one and got a few other cards that I needed and was done. I put the volcanic in my Narset EDH deck (because I'm a filthy EDH player at heart).
Fast forward a little less than a year. I took apart that EDH deck and threw it into my binder. From there I went to DSG to play some modern yesterday. While there I met a really cool dude when playing (forgot to ask his name ) and after he grapeshotted me for ungodly amounts we decide to exchange trades. He wanted my Volcanic, and a plateau that I had. I agreed since I wanted to pick up the last cryptics I needed, and an expedition he had. We worked out the trade on my paper and we have both cards a quick once over for authenticity. Then we finished the rest of our rounds and we agreed that we should have one of the workers at DSG inspect both of them closely. He checked the plateau and it was good. Then he checked the volcanic...
The volcanic that I got from SCG was fake. I thought a mistake was made at first because I've felt the card before hand and it never felt like other fakes that I've touched before. But when I did the light test on it, it didn't pass. I compared it over 5 times to other duals that I had and where all the others passed, that one just failed. It was faker than (Niki Minajs booty). I felt a mixture of both anger and embarrassment, I asked my friends if SCG reimbursed for this type of thing and my friend said that he doesn't think they would. So I completed a smaller trade getting rid of my plateau. I left with just a disgusted feeling in my stomach. It was like the feeling I had when I had one of my decks stolen, that feeling of just taking steps backwards in progressing your collection.
Now that it's the day after I still feel disgusted but now I can talk about this without swearing like a sailor. And now I'm trying to think about this situation logically. It wouldn't be worth it for SCG to intentionally sell fake cards, however it could accidentally happen. However it shouldn't happen accidentally if you're SCG, a multi million dollar company, you shouldn't allow fakes no matter how convincing to go through. So now I ask everyone is there any chance that SCG reimburses this because if not then I'm going to do to it what I do to any fakes that I pick up (all I do is just write "fake" on the back of the card and use them as proxies). And finally just be warned it doesn't matter how reputable or "official" the seller is always check a card for authenticity thoroughly and never through just feeling the card.

Was the Volcanic out of your possession? Do you think there's a chance that your trading partner swapped yours with a fake? If the Volcanic was out of your possession/sight, and you didn't know your trading partner well, it would seem to me that there is an equal chance that he swapped out your card for a fake as there is that SCG sold you a fake.

Only if the trade partner walks around with fake copies of volcanic island on the rare off chance he runs in to someone willing to trade his volcanic island.
I think that a year after the fact is way too late for them to be willing to do anything about it
I mean if it was a month or so after I can see but not a year.
It kinda sucks that you bought such an expensive fake but I'd be more careful when buying such a high end card. I mean I don't get how it would make it into a trade binder but people make mistakes
