I don't have any hard numbers on this, but I'm targeted more often than a black guy driving a beat-up sedan with a broken tail-light and no license plate, and Cy's well aware of that.
I have had mostly negative experiences with them. I've ordered foils that are listed as NM and gotten dinged and non-NM foils. I've gotten orders from them without a penny sleeve shipped in a top loader (I can't remember for sure if all orders with them were like that), which is doubly concerning when most of my store-ordered singles have been particularly valuable promo or foil cards lately.
I tried to sell to them, but it took almost a week for them to confirm my list (it was mostly very low-end stuff I didn't really have an outlet to trade or resell) and when I asked a question before my final send-out, I never got a response email and, ultimately, did not send them the cards... which I guess they were perfectly okay with, as they never checked back with me either.
Another horror story I have with them was when I ordered a Polluted Delta judge promo after it was initially released. Their site said they had 7 copies in stock and, needing only one, I ordered and figured I was good to go. I placed another order with them for foreign Conflux they had on sale a few days later. I received the Conflux box order before the single-card order. After 2-3 days of not getting my singles, I emailed them and only after going out of my way to contact them nearly a week after placing my order did they email me back giving me a bull☺☺☺☺ excuse that they had "Sold Out" of the card I ordered (despite still having 5 listed for sale on their site) and needed to wait to restock before completing my sale. I had my shipping refunded, which I guess was nice, but this was only after they completely neglected to tell me my order would be delayed and after I had to contact them myself when I found my purchase had gone awry at some point.
Their prices are also mostly worse than SCG (although their buy prices are usually higher... though this is irrelevant since they never actually purchased my cards, so I wouldn't know!) and their customer service and just how they deal cards in general is shoddy and unprofessional. I would expect that kind of service maybe between members on this forum, but for a store that charges a premium on cards and tries to compete with StarCity, as a near-clone site, they should just rename themselves Star☺☺☺☺ty.
As an addendum, their article quality and writers have such high variance in quality and use of article, to the point where I would actually recommend MTGS strategy and deckbuilding articles from no-name authors (no offense to our writers, as I fit in this category, too, but most of us do not have the accomplishments under our belts of most strategy article site/online store writers on other sites) over the textual diarrhea and laughably awful suggestions many authors on ChannelFireball's have written up. Even PV, whose articles I anticipated weekly while he was writing for SCG premium, have taken a noticeable and substantial dip in quality to the point where his pieces are almost unreadable.
This is my go-to store typically....I've placed dozens of orders and never had any problems, even with presale cards that jumped in price (can't say the same for other well-known stores). The prices are the lowest out of anyone by far, but the only thing that gets me is that they rarely have the non-Standard cards I'm looking for in stock. A lot of people seem to hate on them, but I've had nothing but good experiences here. Call it good luck, I guess.
EDIT: I guess the bottom line for me is that Channelfireball is fantastic for Standard cards, but not so much for older cards, unless you luck out and they have what you need. If I need to get my hands on a ton of crap rares or commons/uncommons, I buy here without hesitation...I save tons of money compared to anywhere else
I'd have to say they are not very impressive as far as service goes. I also do not believe that they separate their online inventory and their physical inventory which is awful if you're trying to get singles on the quick quick...

I am with you man. The only negative experience I had in 6 orders (Standard cards) was 1 order was late because they didn't pay enough postage, so it was stuck in the Post Office.

I have had several orders with them and almost all went ok except for one. I had ordered 4 Wren's Run Vanquishers, but only got 3. I contacted customer service, and there was never a response back.
Overall I would give them a 3/5. Some decent prices, but customer service can be lacking.
I've ordered from this store before and from my experience they've been pretty good.
SHIPPING = FAST
From the time I got the email that my order was processed, it got to me in 3 days always.
COMMUNICATION = BAD
I wanted to cancel an order shortly after I placed it, but no one ever got back to me. Good thing the order was only $4.
ACCURACY IN RATING CARDS = GOOD
Most of the cards I've purchased from them have been in the condition described. I would say, in the 20 cards I've bought, only 5 were not as they were described.
PRICE = VERY GOOD
Let's face it, they have one of the lowest prices for vendors. They also have a ton in stock.
I've never ordered from them myself but I tried selling bulk rares to them once. They quoted me a price then just never got back to me to confirm. In fairness I could have chased after them a little more but it just seemed unprofesional.
Note that on ebay they will lie about listings if the prices go up, I bought 4 foil stillmoon in an ebay auction for $20 and then one week later (meaning they didn't ship in 7 days) they chimed in claiming the auction was for 1 stillmoon. (utter bs since the going rate a week ago WAS about $5apiece)
They refunded my order but I did my best to kick them off ebay and they were suspended for quite a while thanks to my and others efforts.
I have also have good experiences with them though and their prices ARE competitive. So you can take a risk with them to save.
I just ordered from them for the first time, very pleasantly surprised by the low prices. I placed an order online, then a few minutes later realized I wanted to add something; their customer service was very helpful in this regard, which AdventuresON was not.

Due to real-life obligations, I am taking a long break from Magic which may include missing the local Legacy GP. Apologies for not being able to keep my threads updated.
While I liked their prices, their shipping time was abysmal. Placed my order on a Friday, the cards didn't even ship till the following Thursday, even though they were all listed as in-stock. It took me a week and a half to get them.

Ugh... sounds horrible. Did you use delivery confirmation? It seems they would have no way to lie about that.
I, too, have only had positives... they paid me quickly, and more than I'd thought! Via paypal, apparently, they're very nice. Pretty sure you can beat $35, though...

Any ideas where else? Been trying to sell 'em here AND magictraders for $37 each free shipping, still no bites.
Unless you sell them lower than they're worth right now, I don't think people here are willing to snap them up cos of uncertainties of her being reprinted in M11. (Although I think it's already confirmed somewhere.)
Thing is, if you wait too long, her price might go down more if she's reprinted due to more copies being available.
Not sure which site you can go to. Perhaps you can scan your BSAs and show them to some online dealer?

I thought 145 for all four was already much lower than they're worth :tongue:.
I am having a hell of a time right now getting the money they owe me from 2xJace2.0. I sent them the cards and they recieved them and sent me an email that said that the check for them was mailed on Monday May 17th. I waited til this tuesday May 25th to send an email and ask where my money was, and I'm told that the check didnt get sent until Thursday the 20th and I should get it by this Thursday. Its Friday and I still don't have a check. They tell me today that if I don't recieve it by monday they will send out a new check. I decided I didn't want to wait for a new check so I ask if I can have store credit instead if I don't recieve it by monday. I am told that I can and if I do they will still give me th 30% bonus for in-store credit and as a bonus it seems they wont charge me to cancel the check. Thats funny customer service to me. When you mess up someones order you don't give them what they would recieve normally and pretend its special to make up for a screw up. The emails I recieve from them almost sound like its my fault that I haven't recieved the check yet or I'm crazy for bugging them about it.
I had issues with them back when WWK was to be released. I had ordered about $30 worth of pre-order singles, most of which were silly junk rares or playsets of commons/uncommons. I was looking for absolutely nothing that was worth individually more than a buck at the time. They confirmed my order, and things went down this path:
During the week after pre-release - I send an email asking "when can I expect, I've never ordered with you before?" They answer "We'll ship it out the monday after release." Okay, I can deal.
That monday came and went, and I wait through the weekend to allow for slow shipping. That following Weds comes so I call them in case the order had been lost... "Oh yeah, we shipped it today." They send me an email confirming that it had been shipped. Okay, it's late, but I get it.
ANOTHER Monday passes and I call again on that Weds, in case the order had been lost. "Oh wait, it's right here. We had one card that we're waiting on." okay... "you told me it shipped, this is kind of weak..." "Yeah okay. Here's $5 credit..." Well, I guess he's trying to make it right? Still... it was a junk rare that my local shop had stocked for a buck.
Another few days pass by and I call back. Of course, the order was still delayed so I flat out cancelled the order. I had no issues with a refund, but he was really bland about the whole thing and didn't even appologize. It's like it was just another experience for him.
I've heard they do just fine with items that are in stock, but forget about pre-selling if you want to have your cards in time for an event. Needless to say, my $5 credit still sits there and won't be used.
What I got was a promo Ajani Vengeant. Needless to say, I am pretty upset that I just paid twice as much as I would have had to to get the card I received.
I am currently trying to get a refund or the correct item, will update everyone on how it goes.

"Fun fact about me: I home brew my buddies meta deck. He went from having a much lower ranking then me to a significantly higher rating since I started doing this."
I ordered 4 Pernicious Deed anticipating the creation of OverExtended and possibly as an option in the mono-Jace deck is Legacy absent that, listed as NM. I received one NM, one NM- with a ding on the top back, and two EX+ with noticeable whiting on the top and bottom on the card. This from a store that cuts your payment by half for a drop from NM to NM-.
However, I've contacted them in response to this, citing the above, and they were fairly quick about getting back to me with options (exchange for new cards with refund for my shipping if the cards are as damaged as noted, return cards for full price, or store credit @ $4/card for the damage). My trust is kind of spent and repackaging everything is annoying when the store shouldn't be sending me cards not-in-the-condition-listed in the first place, but customer service on the issue is not bad and were I not just interested in getting my cards in good condition and being done with it, I would easily snap up the free $12 store credit option, as that's a pretty satisfactory proposition.
