I ordered from Troll and Toad, and it was an okay experience. Package arrived in good time, but the packaging itself was shoddy. The cards were shipped unsleeved with a single toploader in the envelope. I ordered a bunch of 10-20$ foils, and would have appreciated if they were at least penny sleeved. The condition of the cards were fine, but I'm not that nitpicky about it. They didn't require signature for the package and the result was that it was kinda left in the lobby where it could have been stolen; Which is unacceptable for a 200$ order.
They have really low prices though, so I guess there's that.
Does anyone have any concerns about receiving counterfeit cards from TNT? They have some NM Underground Seas in stock and I'm a bit worried that maybe someone bought some of the chinese fakes and sent them off to TNT and a less than qualified grader put them in the system.

No more concerns than I'd have anywhere else. I'd hope that anyone getting a $300 card would subject it to several graders, big store or no ...

I just got a foil Selvala, Heart of the Wilds from troll and toad where the card was millimeters from being damaged. Shipped in a penny sleeve inside a cardboard envelope with no other protection. The envelope and the sleeve had been caught in something and snipped - looked almost like someone had taken a pair of scissors to it. If the card had been sitting all the way down in the sleeve at the time, it would have definitely been damaged. The fact that they can't even be bothered with a toploader on a $20-30 (at the time, looks like it's going up since) card has turned me off of ordering from them, regardless of pricing.

This exact same thing has happened with every purchase I have ever made from them. The last time, it was a NM Legends Underworld Dreams. I will not be buying from T&T ever again after that.
I've sent some cards to TnT(my first experience with the site), and when they notified me that they received it, it entered into processing step. Problem is that the package has been in that step for almost 2 weeks now. I've only sent them less than 10 cards from Vanguard and Buddyfight. I find this strange since I've sent cards to other stores like Ideal808 and TCGPlayer and nothing like this has happened with those particular sites. I've notified the store about my concern as to why it's taking so long and that was almost a week ago, they have never responded and I'm still waiting for them to notify me to what is going on. The ON is 180559, if anyone can help me, I would appreciate it.
Sometimes it takes forever for them to process buylist orders. It's so frustrating. The only thing I can recommend is calling their customer service number and hope to get lucky and talk to someone who is willing to try to push it through quicker. Sending them inquiries via their page never works. It takes weeks for them to respond (if at all). You can also bug them by messaging their facebook page.
Ordered three foils for $109. Only received two in the package; missing from the order was a $28 Future Sight foil Daybreak Coronet. Emailed what I THOUGHT was customer service Tuesday 9/13 at 7pm, and after no response after two days, I sent them another email on Thursday 9/15. After yet another day had passed, I called them on Friday 9/16 and I asked why after 3 days no one had responded to either of my emails. I was told they had no record of my emails. She ended the call so she could go locate the card, and she contacted me via email to say it was being sent out to me ASAP.
I replied to her email saying "I sent my emails to 'shipping@trollandtoad.com', which was the email on my invoice". She replied back, telling me that "that email isn't a valid email anymore and I donn't know why they kept putting that on people's invoices", but that she'd "see about getting them to stop giving out that email address". SMH. At no time did she give me the ACTUAL customer service address.
Of the two cards I got, both were in the same team bag. The $77 foil was in a toploader (but was unsleeved), while the $6 foil was unsleeved and not in the toploader, just inserted loosely in the team bag. Senders on Pucatrade take greater precaution in sending their cards than does T&T, a presumably successful B&M store.

Strange - I just got a couple Cryptolith Fragments (total, $3), and they came in a toploader. I don't know if I just got a nice stock guy, or if they started actually using protection.
I guess I just got a nice stock guy.

I ordered 3 foil Concealed Courtyards from them. They arrived today and the envelope had clearly been bent by the sorting machine so the 3 cards were all bent. I called customer service told them I wanted to return them. They said okay sure and told me that I could pay more to have cards shipped in a bubble mailer. Thanks for the tip TNT.
While I am sure a lot of people appreciate the ability to pay cheap shipping to get their cards as cheaply as possible, and that overall I imagine most cards sent via PWE (Plain White Envelope) likely arrive without issue, I honestly wonder just how many such issues businesses that offer the 99cent or the like PWE shipping option run into issues with it. Especially when most people are paying with paypal and paypal is going to force the seller to refund or replace accordingly (part of why those (At your own risk) sorts of comments are useless because paypal doesn't care about any of that, same with those who sell on ebay and say they don't accept returns, when ebay/paypal wont give them a choice anyway.
Anyhow as with many things it is a risk reward sort of setup just like anything else.
I ordered some Deathrite shaman from them on the 26th and am still awaiting the arrival of the cards. I've ordered from other stores with even later arrival dates nearly a week later and they have all arrived on time and are accounted for, so I don't know what is going on. I'd gladly pay some extra money for better protection and tracking as I hate losing cards in the mail due to the postal service. I know they are trying to compete with Card Kingdom and the mega box openers by having some lower prices on cards, but I'd at least like the option to pay for the upgraded shipping.
