Has anyone else here ordered a product on pre-order and cancelled it beyond the period they specify (I think it was a day?). I'm trying to figure out how this works when they mark something like a pre-order as shipped even though it can't possibly be shipped until release day.

1. (Ravnica Allegiance): You can't keep a good esper control deck down... Or Wilderness Reclamation... or Gates...
2. (War of the Spark): Guys, I know what we need! We need a cycle of really idiotic flavor text victory cards! Jace's Triumph...
3. (War of the Spark): Lets make the format with control have even more control!
That said, I think that we've all been cancelled upon. eBay policy is that you can only offer preorders for two weeks ahead of release, so technically most MTG preorder listings are in violation of that. Most sellers will "mark as shipped" ahead of release, for that reason (and to avoid being dinged on shipping time).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he's asking about the reverse situation -- that is, cancelling a preorder as a buyer.

Oh. Huh. Maybe so - that's very much not the way that I read it, but I could be wrong.
OP? Can you shed some more light on your situation please?
