Smells like Digiridoo around Theros block but worse. Might drive up the price for a bit, but they're probably not going to print anything that is broken by Fluctuator.
Reddit has been sucking that card's for a while now. The tryhard EDH community apparently just realized it can make infinite mana in a couple of different ways.
EDH/Commander is a social format, right? So why don't people use their social skills to discuss what they like and don't like, instead of adopting a list with 60+ banned cards?
Just to give you folks a warning, Reconnaissance makes Exert cards really nutty will never be reprinted because Matt Tabek does not like the very strange pseudo-vigilance ability it grants. (He tried to errata it away until the community persuaded him not to awhile back.)
That depends entirely upon the quality of the Exert cards in this block. However, it won't take much to make it move, since it's an old card, and if it does move, it'll be a second spike.
EDIT: For example, Champion of Rohas is pretty spicy. Not quite there, since it's basically a weaker Elvish Piper, but it gives you an idea of how powerful Exert can be...
That card has never seen any play outside of EDH. Exert won't change that, and we are talking Legacy here - no room for cute cards. A price increase because of several cards in Amonkhet? Yeah, not going to happen.
EDH can spike cards. I really doubt that it'll spike Reconnaissance, but it's possible. That said, you're absolutely right in that this should be in the EDH thread and not the Legacy thread.
It's an old card, but it's not on the reserve list, so it's vulnerable to a reprint. Like, in Archenemy: Nicol Bolas, or Commander 2017, or Eternal Masters 2018, or ...

Any thoughts on Leovold, Emissary of Trest's price movement post-commander ban? I'd like a third copy and have been unwilling to drop the money at the price he's currently commanding.

It might dip a little, but I seriously doubt EDH was the reason he's so expensive. He's a mythic from a set that was hardly opened and he sees fairly regular play in eternal formats. I suspect he'll end up going higher before long, even if he drops a bit in the short term from the ban.

I don't think he's going to tank and it's going to be impossible to separate the impact the EDH banning had from the metagame changes thanks to the top banning, but I wouldn't underestimate EDH's ability to impact prices. It's more widely played than legacy at this point (at least in my experience) and there is a sizable competitive contingent.
Long term and barring a reprint, I definitely agree. That would be true regardless of banlist changes though.

Do you guys think the judge promo Force of Will will ever recover?
I think it will gradually climb, but I'd be very surprised if it was ever at $600+ again. It's no longer the only foil option and one of the others has Therese Nielsen art. I also wouldn't be surprised by another reprint at some point, which wouldn't do the judge promo any favors.

Concur. They may even end up using that art for Eternal Masters 2: We're Out Of Ideas.
It's also possible that it sees a wider judge release at some point. Either way, it's past its prime. Like the turtle says, it can (and probably will) go back up, but not to anywhere near $600.

Just coming here to raise the alarm on Green Sun's Zenith. With the printing of Crucible with legs in Hour of Devestation, a card that has gone up and down over time is going to get more pressure.
You'll see it got up to 8 dollars right before Eternal Masters came out and cut it's price in half. Since then, it's been slowly recovering... very slowly. I don't see it going above its previous height, but I think it's going to get back there in a hurry now.
Well, since it hasn't been noted here yet, I'll mention that the price of blue Revised Dual lands have skyrocketed since the announcement of Legacy as a part of the Grand Prix's. In the last 10 days or so, the following has occurred (all prices for NM, TCGP Low): Underground Sea from $295 to $400, Volcanic Island from $270 to $300, Tropical Island from $200 to $220, and Tundra from $155 to $185. So today those 4 cards will run you $1105. Ten days ago that same $1105 would have gotten you those 4 cards AND a Bayou and you'd still have $15 in your pocket.

While the Increase to Underground Sea (35%), and Tundra (19%) are sizeable enough, one is the most popular and scarcest of all of the original duals who's price nearly always tends to fluctuate the most over time, and the other is the lowest end of the current blue duals, which can certainly lead to it having a greater percentage increase than some of the others, in this case: Volcanic Island (11%), and Tropical Island (10%), neither of which are that significant of movements on the overall scheme of things. I also suspect the Underground Sea price will likely settle back down some over the next 6 months after such a spike (as tends to often be the case with such similar sudden spikes with duals in more recent times. And the increase in Tundra only simply brings it up closer to some of the others, I mean a blue dual for $155 before certainly seems low in the grand scheme of things, and $185 after still seems fine enough especially when compared to the others.
As for Ben's comments about the timing of any increases, honestly I believe the explanation provided to be perfectly reasonable and certainly makes logical sense. Supply and demand is always a difficult balance to keep up when one is running an mtg based business as I have as well in the past, though nothing like the scale of anything SCG is doing. Buy/Sell prices have to be adjusted often in order to make sure that supply is kept up and that profit margins are kept reasonable to warrant the effort. As far as going through and systematically re-pricing from oldest to newest as they said they were doing, honestly I had to do that on several occasions myself as well, and it certainly does take time to properly examine supply/demand/buy/sell pricing and other factors to find the right balance.
Looks like Urza's Bauble has spiked from Bulk Uncommon to $8.50 mid after Caleb Durward posted a BW Bomberman list running a full set of both of the Brothers' Baubles.

Also, notice that this card spiked once before, around origins, and the price was sticky. It will not take many people looking for it again today for it to hit a second spike.

Also interesting to note are fresh accusations towards Star City of them having insider information of this announcement, resulting in an increase in both their buy and sell prices.
