Anyone else had trouble getting cards that shouldn't be that tough to get?
it's started to get insane for me, i have a list of tons of cards from low value, all the way to high valueish ($30) and i haven't been sent ***** in well over 2 weeks. It's starting to feel like i'm shadowbanned or something.
My current wants are getting filled a bit more slowly than I'm used to. Blue fetches (which I understand being slow) and some random older cards in the <$4 range. I keep tacking full arts onto my want list, which get snapped right up, unfortunately without the ToFGs, Edgewalkers, and random EDH cards that I really want.
Normal for me is essentially just buying the cards. I spent over 10000 points in one night on Theros crap like a month ago; my balance was being wiped out faster than I could add things. I'm not used to this waiting crap.
Suspect everyone's hitting December and parking it somewhat... the mail is slowing down, people are (somewhat) trying to slow down...
Typically late November through Christmas tends to be a time where people are more focused on buying gifts and such for people than they are trading with people, especially online. Its also a period where there tends to be a bit of a gap in new product being released and thus the surges in trading tend to cool down a bit. There is also the issue of delays in shipments during this time of year which can cause issues with a variety of situations between buying online via slower shipping methods or trading online by the same (As often tends to be the case). Between the thanksgiving holiday, black Friday, cyber Monday (and in some cases cyber week....), and then simply needing to focus on preparations for Christmas and other such holidays as mentioned, for trading to slow down this time of year makes perfect sense. I suspect it will pick back up again once we get past the holidays and people have more time and interest in trading online again on a regular basis.

Honestly, I've only sent one set of orders out in the last 4 months. I've had ~$800 in points sitting on there for awhile now, with none of my wants being filled. I decided there's no reason to pump more cards into the system if I'm not actually getting anything sent to me.
Just a quickie here. I've been sending cards for a month now and finally got enough points for a Tarmogoyf. How long can I expect to wait before someone sends me one? Also, would it be quicker if I already had received cards before (Goyf is one of the only 2 cards on my WANTS there)?

It's strange, contrary to what y'all are saying I feel like cards getting sent to me have been pretty good lately. After people only sending me some of the smaller stuff I wanted, the last month or so has seen me being sent eight or nine high value cards that had been sitting on my wants list for a pretty long time (I'm also very excited about the foil Bearer of the Heavens, kek).
@Shale: Some high value cards can be a bit of a wait, since there will almost always be other people that they can be sent to and a lot of people don't like dumping higher value cards in the first place. I'd recommend adding a small bonus, just something like 5-10%, to sweeten the deal and make sending to you slightly more appealing than the rest of the hundred people.

I'm a regular member, can't offer bounties. However, I think that upgrading my account would be a smart move, as all the trades I do there are "from crap to [insert value card here]". And I really mean it... Puca is fantastic, as it is the kind of grindy trades I've been doing all my trading career: trading up lots of smaller cards.
Currently doing "From crap to Goyf", planning on doing a "From crap to ZenFetches" too.
Thanks for the advice!

November was great for me. Traded into RB Grishoalbrand with the option of splashing Blue if wanted, 6 fetch lands were the most difficult. Really close to finishing mono blue Taking Turns as well, but Time Warp is proving elusive. I'm slowing down after finishing those two but trying to keep points flowing in so I can pickup Jace, Vryn's Prodigy when/if he dips to reasonable price.
I upgraded my account for this month to offer a bounty for Time Warp and it's gotten me 1 of 4 so far.
I know this has been covered before but it seems like the climate changes... I want to sell puca points for cash and was curious if any of you had any advice on how to maximize my value while also moving the points in a reasonable amount of time.
I am one of the common users too lazy to post my boxes of uncommons and commons. Perhaps more of those in the thread can add their Puca names to their sigs, so when people read of wants going unfilled, they can just hop over and check it out.
For what it's worth, I have some obscurities requested, too, which fill slowly.
Cheers!

There's a Facebook group you can post on. People pretty regularly post offering 100 PP for 70 cents and seem to sell out in a decent amount of time.

Yeah, November was a good month for me, too. Basically swapped 5000 points for all the pointy cards in a Pauper Cube for the kids. I was surprised how quickly some of the hard-to-find stuff got filled, TBH. DD Anthologies copies of Elvish Harbinger and Elvish Promenade, Mystical Tutor, DD Regrowth, Conspiracy StP, DD Mishra's Factory... the sleeves for it arrive any day. My 6yo is not going to come up for air for days afterwards.
In short, PucaTrade remains incredibly awesome.
I just cancelled my silver membership and was very surprised when I was personally emailed by Vinny ballisteri (sp?).it seems like they are extremely interested in feedback. I am impressed with their customer service.

I went there but Reddit makes absolutely no sense to be and I tend to ignore it unless someone reposts one of my altered cards and tell me about it. Everything else... no way

Paper Pauper is starting to get a following out here and I recommend Pucatrade to everyone interested. I've had no trouble at all picking up entire decks within 48 hours of getting the points or posting the wants and there seems to be a lot of traders who love to take 30 crap cards and turn them into something bigger. I don't know how it's working with higher end cards these days, but Pauper stuff is kicking there.
By points: bigger points to send off the better.
User points: String together cards until you get a big point trade, or find some small fries to add to a large trade
Date wanted: (Gold membership only) See what is wanted when it comes in, right away.
I really also do not sort by name.

Well, there's always the old "send a card of similar value" trick. Oddly enough, totally allowed by the site.

Once I have the points, about how long do I have to wait before someone will ship me a card? I'm currently looking for fetch lands and manlands.
The Great Creature Token Project
It entirely depends on demand. Fetches are known to be quite slow moving, and many have bounties on them to help them get them faster.

KTK fetches aren't really slow moving, anywhere from 15-20 go out on any given day, it's just demand is so much higher than that.
