I'd probably pick Pile A here. Pile B is the third-best foil of Mana Crypt. It's nice, but it's not really that nice. Another printing of Mana Crypt will hurt it. Meanwhile, you've got $40 cash and JTMS which can be easily flipped for cash at an event. I like the cash option.

Thanks seems the foils in EMA is not much higher than regular ones. Why is that ?

Like I said, it's the third-best foil, and I'd personally rank it below the original printing. Foils have value because people want to show off something cool, and if a foil isn't cool or desirable, the foil multiplier won't be very high. This version is significantly less cool than the MPS or the Judge foil.
The other issue is that there just aren't too many copies of Mana Crypt out there, and it goes in pretty much every serious EDH deck. So a lot of people are buying these not because they want a foil, but just because they want a copy, any copy. That puts more pressure on the price of nonfois. If - excuse me, WHEN - Mana Crypt gets a reprint, a lot of people will say "Hey, I bet I can trade my foil Crypt for two regular ones", thus putting a lot more copies on the market and depressing the price of even the foils. It happened with the Judge foils when EMA came out, although they eventually bounced back pretty well. But personally, I don't feel like the coefficient of restitution for this version is as high.

As for the relatively low premium for a foil Eternal Masters Mana Crypt:
Masters packs have a foil in every one, so that might depress foil prices generally.
On a card expensive even in nonfoil is there less room for growth?

Value looks fairly even, swapped extras for cards I wanted for decks, but am I missing something here?
Bomat Courier and Soul-Scar Mage are looking good in Standard right now, at least for the next few months. However, I really like the foil Daredevil. That's a card that will only get better as more cards get printed and definitely has Modern potential. Not sure I'd trade for the Khenra now, but if you have a Standard deck that wants it, then go for it. If the Chandra is extra, you could do a lot worse.

Yes, I wanted Khenra for Standard mono red aggro, and the cards I traded (including Chandra) were more than I needed for that deck.
I also wanted Daredevil for that deck and hadn't thought of the further upside, cool.

I mean, Polluted Delta Expo is $265 in theory, but there aren't any available for under $300. WWK Jace is $93, LOTV is $90 (for both walkers, NM replacement price is about equivalent to market price). While the 'walkers are really powerful cards that can't really be replaced by cheaper versions, that Expedition is not going to go down. Ever. More reprints (and they will be reprinted) will push the price of Jace and Lili down. This is my favorite kind of trade - expensive staple for premium expensive staple.

100% agree with Knick here. If it were me I'd snap this trade off in a heartbeat and wouldn't look back. As for breaking a playset, unless you're playing Jund (or maybe Grixis Death's Shadow) you're probably ok with 3 lili's. The meta had shifted some to using Liliana, The Last Hope in combination with Liliana of the Veil as a 2/3 or 2/2 split (including sideboard). Still, if the meta goes back to 4 LoTV's and I was short I'd still make this trade and find someone who had the 4th and give them a bit of value back to get one if it became critical.

As Seal said, I wouldn't worry too much about breaking the playset.
Gavin Verhey at WOTC has said that Modern Masters 2017 will be the last Modern Masters set for a while. WOTC wants to shake up how they handle their Masters sets, and they feel that they've hit Modern as a theme too much recently.
I get that you're giving up very useful cards, but I guarantee you that you will always be able to reverse this trade, if you feel that you want the planeswalkers back - if not with your original trade partner, then with me.

Quick blurb from the road.
I definitely like fetch Expos better than non-rock Inventions or non-Force Invocations. That said, a couple things to note.
1) Signed cards are cool, but you’re limiting your market. Some people don’t want to touch them, preferring their cards to be pristine.
2) Do you have a prospective trading partner for the end goal? Someone who has a dual/City waiting for you? If so, make sure that you’re trading for what they want.
3) “A dual or a City” is kind of a vague goal. Are you looking to make a high-powered EDH deck? Or are you just looking for something reserved to eventually turn into something even better?
4) Cash is king. Good job getting him to make up the difference with cash.

1) Limiting my market is what made me hesitant on the trade. Almost everyone I've talked to says the signature adds nothing or devalues the card.
2) I don't have a prospective trading partner at the moment. I'm really just trying to trade up and improve my binder
3) I'm looking specifically for RUG duals and a City for a couple of EDH decks. The Verdant I would be picking up just to flip.
4) I'm glad he offered cash too!
Ultimately I think I'm going to decline the trade. Like you said, the signature really limits the market. Also, no one in my immediate trading area has what I'm looking for so I'm really just trying to build up my binder for when I can make it to a big event. If it wasn't signed I would probably jump on it, but that signature makes it tough to put a definitive value on.
In general, I like it. You got a lot closer to building Sneak and Show, and hopefully you were able to take advantage of lower prices on the recently-reprinted Omniscience and Emrakul. Not really a trade for massive value, but those are becoming fewer and further between. What did you value the Back to Basics at?

I valued Back to Basics at $50.00CAN with the recent reprinting.
There's no urgency on either side to open the Mythic Edition, so part of this question is: Will the price for WAR Mythic Edition drop over the next six months or so? (It's currently pretty easy to find it on ebay at the low 700s.)

I’d take the Mythic Edition here, and it’s not close. I’ve seen some auctions close around $700, and I’ve resigned myself to $650 being my target price for pickup and that’s what is being offered, with part of it being tied up in an Opal. I don’t see it dropping below $650, even though I’m still hoping for $500 (yeah that’s a vain hope).
