Completed this one some weeks back. Is this over-trading?
I'd take Pile B here. Some useful cards in Pile A, but Pile B has long-term foils (I'm quite envious of your new Misty) and solid pedigree. Pile A has reprintables, many of which you definitely want to be moving now.

Thanks. I was a little hesitant on moving in on foil Goyf and foil Misty, as I was afraid that my collection was gonna get fleeced real hard. Wasn't sure if I even wanted to ask for them at the time.
Reprints the one card that people point to when saying that art objectifies women.
Well done Wizards.
Liliana does not objectify women in any way at all. We have gotten to a point in our society that every single picture of a women must be objectifying a women in some negative way......blah blah blah.. That is not the case. (((Sarcasm)))Picture of a girl drinking a milk shake, must be sex related and putting women down, picture of girl sitting on a beach, picture of a girl driving a car, picture of a girl on the moon at a new space station.)))
You have a picture of an attractive strong power women who girls dress up as for anime conventions. What more do you want? The picture is fine, happy to see a reprint. Sick of of seeing people claim that everything in existence must be putting women down. Then all I have to do is replace the word "women" with anything else to get the same mentality; fish, cats, arabs, blacks, jews, men, environment, whites, chinese, old people, etc. It doesn't matter what word I put in. Stop sucking life out of everything man. That artwork of her is awesome. Stop putting stuff down man. Just stop. If the picture was really as negative as you claim she would totally nude, in a kitchen, making sandwiches and giving blow jobs. Her abilities would be horrible as well. +1 do nothing -2 do nothing -6 do nothing. Instead liliana of the veil is an amazing planeswalker comparable to jace, the mind sculpter with great art to appreciate.
My suggestion listen to some comedy radio for a while, pandora is free, youtube is free there is something out there for you. ***** go make fun of somebody. The whole world is so serious and campaigning for some cause, or someones rights, everything is a hate crime, racist, sexist. blah blah blah.
"O no mcdonalds must be slandering a hate crime against skinny people every time they make a big mac." hahaha jeeze You're just someone perpetuating another groups negative perspective that they've made you believe is correct. Look at the picture for a hour and tell me what's wrong with it? I don't see anything.
I have heard vague rumors of a moustache-dispensing vending machine in a distant laundromat, across the street from a tattoo parlor. However, this information is shaky, and time is of the essence.

Completely agree with Knick's assessment. In this case trading a bunch of mediocre value for foils is great. The only card you gave up that I'd be hesitant to part with was the foil creeping tar pit. Other than that you did great.
Masterpiece Lord of Extinction
Path to Exile
Exploration (con)
Sun Titan (prerelease foil)
Selfless Spirit
Im on Pile B
1st trade was like, I already have Brimaz, so I have another 1 left.
2nd trade, I got those Vengevine for $40, kind of want to flip them into more.
First trade: Take what you need. If your Brimaz is extra and Blood Moon helps you build a deck (or goes in your Ruric Thar - I play one in mine), then that's a win.
Second trade: Yeah, Vengevine basically doubled after that SCG Open. It's entirely reasonable to flip them now. That said, I don't know that Pile B is the best option. MPS Lord is only $24, and the rest are somewhat less. I think that the Vengevine pile wins at the moment. Unless I'm missing something, it's worth about twice the other pile.

Completely agree with the sentiments. The first trade is balanced. Personally I come down on the Blood Moon side of the coin because that card is just such a beating to play against.
The second trade is heavily favored for the person receiving the Vengevines. If you're trading them away, you should be asking for a lot more. Additionally, I've always been very bullish on Vengevine. It's the kind of card that could/would double overnight. It was a mythic in a lightly opened set that has a very unique ability. When it was $10, I bought a playset for myself because it is the type of card that could do exactly what it did.
Pile B:
One sealed box of Khans of Tarkir from a trustworthy source
First you need to consider that value wise, its basically fetches or bust. Either that or you would be holding on to the box for it to gain value and sell/trade as a whole. If you are strictly trading for value, I personally wouldn't do this.
However, do you plan on drafting? I don't remember how good triple khans was as a draft format (that was right around the time when I took a break). If so, I would weigh more in favor of the box.
This is also how much you value lili. Do you have an extra playset/don't plan on using them? They have already reprinted her in MM2017, so its not unlikely she will get another reprint (maybe in masters 25?)

Just my couple of cents
"Fetches or bust" is a pretty good description of KTK value-cracking. The plan would be to hold on to the box for a while until I'm not insane, and probably eventually draft it. I do love drafting. That said, I think that I'd have to open five fetches to get equal value, and that's not terribly likely.
And yeah, it's a Lili that I'm not using. Typically it's not something that I'd try to move because I like having options, but my friend really wants to finish his Jund Modern deck, so I'm trying to find something that I want.

This depends on how much you value the capture of jingzhou judge promo. its a portal 3 kingdom reprint. Do you plan on using a another time warp variant in commander (the only reasonable place i see it being played, since you have time warp and time manipulation too). Personally I would take Pile B in a heartbeat
I like the Masterpieces here. Pile A is basically the judge foil plus a couple random cards, and the judge foil is still "new", and in its cooling-down period. It'll never be the "best" version, so it will definitely fall with reprints, which might occur as soon as 25Masters.

Pile A
Badlands MP it has enough chips and dings that it isn't LP
Pile B
Emrakul, the Aeons Torn RoE x2
Emrakul, the Aeons Torn Prerelease
If the Badlands were SP or better it would be a slam dunk, but is it still worth it for a MP dual?
I guess my question is, what use do you have for a Badlands? If you have any use for it whatsoever, I'd take the dual. Emrakul is pretty high right now, and I can see her getting another reprint that pushes her price down a bit - I don't think she'll crash like Goyf, but another reprint at mythic will certainly stop her from climbing, and a second will crash her. But if you have plans to run Legacy Sneak and Show, then those Emrakuls will be more useful (and she's not going to get reprinted in the next 10 months). So, I'd go with the utility here. Badlands if you're not running her, Emrakul if you'd be taking her out of a deck.

I gave up on dinosaurs after realizing it just falls apart to control and I have UW auras deck that I won a pptq with that I will use for the rptq.
This looks more like a humble brag post than a trade. As far as long term value goes this is a no brainer on which one I would prefer to have. In 18 months this will be the equivalent of trading $130 or $140 (mostly store credit - not cash) for an MP trop.
With the continual spike of Arabian cards, I'm wondering if now is the time to let my City of Brass go? Would getting Pile B be good value? A lot of modern staples have rebounded very well upon reprints, and I would expect Cavern to do the same. Is it worth Pile B?

I suppose this has to do with your goals. With pile B you are 3/4 of the way towards most of tribal decks (fish, humans, elves). If you're going to get significant play out of those types of decks, then I'd make the trade. If you're looking at this specifically from a value standpoint, AN City of Brass is never going back down. It's such an iconic card, extremely low supply and in great condition.
My personal rule is I won't trade Reserve List cards (and I throw a lot of the old AN, AQ, and LEG cards that aren't RL but iconic in here) for anything less than others on the RL. If it were me I would not make the trade but I am more of a collector than player nowadays.

I fully agree with Seal here: what's your end-goal? Are you looking to build Modern Fish, Humans, etc? If so, this is a decent deal for you. My personal feeling is that Cavern is soft - it's a very popular card, but it has only two printing: one rare in an underwhelming set, and one mythic in a Masters set. Another printing will dent the price, and since Core sets are coming back it could easily end up there. It's going to get reprinted - good cards get reprinted - at some point, so I wouldn't trade for any as a long-term spec.
So, my verdict is, make the trade if you have a deck that wants those 6 cards. Otherwise, get something else. You can probably get three nonblue Revised duals for your City, FYI. Consider that.
(BTW, I fixed your post to autocard the correct version of City).

I have more than enough Chandras for Standard mono red aggro, so I wanted to move my extras before rotation. I wanted the foils for my collection binder; dual land variants like Botanical Sanctum seem fairly stable and the other two are cheap cards to begin with. Grothama was a card I didn't have yet for my Battlebond set.

I think I'd probably try to get a little more - Grothama, Lannery, and Kari are pretty much $1ish throw-ins. I do like getting into foil Botanical Sanctum, but Chandra's more than just a Standard role-player. Sanctum is going to $9 at market, but LP copies are available all day at $7. I'd probably want two foil Sanctums for my Chandra.

$2 for the cheap rare foils did seem a bit generous when trading down, but valuing foils did seem difficult especially when nonfoils were also involved. Maybe I did overestimate how much Chandra's rotation drop would be.

I looked up the buylist values back in April, and assuming that his local store gave him TCGBuylist in credit it was about even with prices for MP Trops. That's mostly why it didn't get smacked down as a brag post.
