I have these two and would like to know how much they would be worth. Since I'm not a rarities collector, I would like to know how much should I charge them in case I want to trade them (actually, I have the feeling that these came from the same sheet, but I could be wrong.)
Yeah, he was asking for trade value. If you're trading at SCG prices, you can trade at their miscut prices as well. I've seen those lands go for around 25-35 on ebay too,, so they aren't that far off.
For sure. I don't deal much in crimps, but I know there are definitely people out there looking for beta crimps. It's not a large crimp though, which hurts its value. I'd guess 10-20.
That's almost impossible to prove to be naturally like that, as it looks a lot like the bottom having been taped and erased. Usually the back of the card shows some wear and the cardboard is also less smooth. Just use a jewelers loupe ar a good magnifying glass to check.
Unless you can prove it's a misprint, expect to get less value than for normal copy from most buyers.
This same card/topic has already been addressed on the site, without question the masses here believe that card has been altered via ERASER ect destroying the value (maybe in half).
That was a $40 card, now its sitting probably around $20-$25.
Just be wary that someone didn't just erase the border.
I paid $3, so I'm not overly concerned. If it was legitimate, though, how much? It's a playable card and an EDH staple, but it's a $4ish card on its own.
In terms of a crimp, it's rather light. Most crimp-seekers will probably pass on it and everyone else will probably view it as damaged or at least grade it lower. I would hope for normal price, really.
I'm not sure if this is the right spot, so feel free to suggest another thread (but go easy with the big red text )
I've opened several foils over the past couple of weeks that have what appears to be printing errors where the foil will show through the black border in certain spots. Like dots where black ink is missing and you can see the foil. These are often smaller than the tip of a very fine pen, but they can catch the light.
I realize this will not add value to the card, but I would like to know if it is something I should mention when selling or trading? In my mind, it's near mint, especially since it came from a pack as such. But I also realize it's not perfect, either.

I've seen a few of these. I think it would lower the value, since it's very easy to spot. I've had some cards in packs with machine dents in it straight out of the pack too, but that doesn't make it NM. I would point it out at the very least.

Thanks for the input...I guess I am trying to figure out how to grade it. I don't ever want to deceive anyone and I don't mind knocking a couple bucks off a card for SP condition so that folks aren't ripped off. But It's not really played, so I guess I will just point it out as a cosmetic "feature" from the factory
I'd be fine valuing such cards as NM, and long as just the black ink is just missing in dots and there isn't damage to the surface texture.
(Still point it out though)
Good call...I will do that. Thanks for the advice
I wonder if it would be in my benefit to ship it back to Wizards for a replacement? I have an FtV:Realms card with the same problem. Anyone have experience with Wizards replacing cards...especially those from a OCD/collector's view point?
I opened a chinese prophecy pack and got this foil coffin puppets with alternate art (picture attached). I've only found japanese foils on ebay selling from a wide range of prices, and I know japanese tends to be a bit more popular than chinese, so I wasn't sure what to value this at.
Anyone have an idea on how much this card is worth?
Chinese is the only language with this alternate art and the foils used to be pretty popular nad not that many are on the market anymore.
I can get the nonfoil version for about 8 €, but I unfortunately don't have any data for the foil ones. I recall one auction ending at 60 $ long time ago, but I felt that to be high at the time.
I stumbled across these slight misprints. The white background for the odyssey symbol is off-centered most noticeable on the Reckless Charges. I have 45 cards all red and green (11 forest, 8 mountain) like this all from the same pre-con. The card names and type also appear "fuzzy" compared to normal odyssey cards. Anyone ever seen this before and have an idea if someone is interested in this and if it has any value?
Typically cards like that aren't visually interesting enough to warrant a premium. If there are any playable cards for modern/legacy in there then perhaps you could find someone willing to trade a little more, but I doubt it.
Opened these a long time ago. They've sat in the back page of a binder for ages. A few useless miscuts and ugly cuts, as well as an off-color (white card with very noticeable red tint).
Also have a misaligned Mishra's Factory. The front face looks fine, but the back is off center vertically.

SCG's misprints are super overvalued. I would say $15-20 if you can find the right person interested.

Looks more like someone erased the bottom border than a misprint, unless you pulled it from the pack that way.

I can find the link if need be on the topic,

I just ordered off MOTL a white-bordered Eternal Witness, with a 5DN symbol. Are these common? If not, how much are they worth?
