As for Deathrite it's already up to $7 which would be good enough for 13th spot if I redid the tally right now.
Everybody I know is talking about this card right now. Grisly Salvage, Mulch, and Faithless Looting make it good in Standard while fetchlands make it good in Modern and Legacy. I never would have thought.

WoTC, thank you for finally announcing the Modern format, an eternal format where everyone can participate.
But when you look at the whole of Magic, it's not that good, it's an unstable item, and if I am spending $10+ on a card, it must be something that holds value for me, or it is something I can flip. Because in the end when these cards leave Standard, their value as Modern/Legacy/Casual cards has to be evaluated.
Yep, almost every card tanks hard when they rotate, no reason not get the cards we need for standard is it? Pretty hard to make a standard deck with only stuff that'll hold value post rotation.
Plus, rotation is 2 years away. I might be wrong but I think most people are more concerned with the value of the card in the near future, especially since it'll be standard legal and retain most of its value during it's standard run. And historically around this time next year mythics like this tend to go up since the set is not opened anymore (see olivia voldaren, the scars of mirrodin fastlands, the innistral duals) even for big sets. Cards that people know will go down to 30% of their value post rotation still going up? Crazy isn't it? Yet they're still worth getting, as long as you flip the cards 6 months before rotation, you won't lose too much value and still get to enjoy the cards if you get it now.

Fine, I'll limit my disagreements with your evaluations on cards in this tally only. Judging by the high number of people in this thread who recognizes Rakdos's return power in standard, it's just wise to know the format that determines most of a new card's value before doing evaluations, that's all.
Another card evaluation you made that I disagreed with is Terra Stomper is comparable to armada wurm. Obviously separating 10 power instead of 8 power over 2 bodies is a huge advantage.
This card will be the worst rare in RTR and less remembered than skaab ruibator in three months. It struggles to be on the same power level as mass of ghouls, even in limited.
That its not simply "not good enough for competitive", or underpowered. But that this is offensively bad, the real stinker tier.
Still, my best evaluation is that its approximately on the same power level as a 4/4 for 4 vanilla beater.
Armada Wurm is a crazy card. I don't think his value will adjust much for awhile. The fact that you spread your threats out, they both have trample, and you can bounce the wurm OR populate the token to get more of them is really strong. Green White is also very very popular at the moment.
Armada Wurm has a good predecessor to be compared with, tho - Broodmate Dragon - which saw good play, because it`s usually sweep it, counter it, or get 2-for-1`ed.
It was rare only, tho (in a set that already had mythics), and I honestly don`t understand the mythicness of such a card - it`s two french vanilla beatsticks, after all - other than the famous cash grab argument.
Taking the mythicness into consideration, it easily justifies the $10 pricetag - Broodmate was priced something around $5 back in the day iirc - and it was a rare.

We can interrupt each other all day with pointless nitpicking like this. I don't think you'd appreciate it if someone did it to you either.
If this was directed at me I didn't even quote that particular line from r_e and I was more concerned that it can't be redirected out the board like bonfire could.
Reprints the one card that people point to when saying that art objectifies women.
Well done Wizards.
Liliana does not objectify women in any way at all. We have gotten to a point in our society that every single picture of a women must be objectifying a women in some negative way......blah blah blah.. That is not the case. (((Sarcasm)))Picture of a girl drinking a milk shake, must be sex related and putting women down, picture of girl sitting on a beach, picture of a girl driving a car, picture of a girl on the moon at a new space station.)))
You have a picture of an attractive strong power women who girls dress up as for anime conventions. What more do you want? The picture is fine, happy to see a reprint. Sick of of seeing people claim that everything in existence must be putting women down. Then all I have to do is replace the word "women" with anything else to get the same mentality; fish, cats, arabs, blacks, jews, men, environment, whites, chinese, old people, etc. It doesn't matter what word I put in. Stop sucking life out of everything man. That artwork of her is awesome. Stop putting stuff down man. Just stop. If the picture was really as negative as you claim she would totally nude, in a kitchen, making sandwiches and giving blow jobs. Her abilities would be horrible as well. +1 do nothing -2 do nothing -6 do nothing. Instead liliana of the veil is an amazing planeswalker comparable to jace, the mind sculpter with great art to appreciate.
My suggestion listen to some comedy radio for a while, pandora is free, youtube is free there is something out there for you. ***** go make fun of somebody. The whole world is so serious and campaigning for some cause, or someones rights, everything is a hate crime, racist, sexist. blah blah blah.
"O no mcdonalds must be slandering a hate crime against skinny people every time they make a big mac." hahaha jeeze You're just someone perpetuating another groups negative perspective that they've made you believe is correct. Look at the picture for a hour and tell me what's wrong with it? I don't see anything.
I have heard vague rumors of a moustache-dispensing vending machine in a distant laundromat, across the street from a tattoo parlor. However, this information is shaky, and time is of the essence.
Just a quick update. I did a quick repricing of standard yesterday, and did the breakdown for box value for RTR, and the current overall average box value is sitting at about $130/box. Down about $20 from my last update. Prices are definitely beginning to cool at least some, still a great value though :).
That's probably because supply isn't as low as first "hyped", my LGS had cases of them lying around with no one needing any attention.
Really, because my store hasn't been able to host drafts for two weeks, due to shortages. In fact I don't think they will be able to do them until after their PTQ in November.
That's probably because supply isn't as low as first "hyped", my LGS had cases of them lying around with no one needing any attention.
No it was a legit short, 1 major shot in Austin was having inventory issues and couldn't host their drafts they do tues and thurs, one shop in san antonio ran out and had just enough to cover Saturday tournament prizes, a shop in san marcos ran out for a few days, etc.
We're finally seeing supply catching up but yeah this set saw some stores not get enough to meet demand which is impressive because this isn't m10, it wasn't that initial printing was just small, the set is just that popular.
My shop ran out, altho the owner said they should be getting the next shipment today (finger crossed).
Its probably a demand difference here within the US vs overseas. All I know over here is that all of our distributors are sold out, and will continue to be until wizards does another print run. We were able to get our normal initial large order, another 6 cases and a couple cases of fat packs early the week after the release from the 2nd print run, and after that, we've only been able to get our allotted 3 cases ordering direct from wizards each week. Will continue to be that way until the next print run comes out. Most of the shops that ran out, I think did a lot of pre-orders, which is where the supply limits caused issues foer a lot of shops. We always massively limit our pre-orders and that helped save us from big issues post-release. Sales from the set continue to be strong, but definitely are slowing some. A lot of people have allready gotten a lot of what they want from the set (between sealed/singles buying), and as the average box value continues to decline down to more reasonable levels, we should start seeing more variety in what people are looking to open to pull stuff. I know Ive seen more people going after innistrad of late, due to the rising in value of a lot of cards from that set.
That aside. For those paying attention to Community Issues, I announced that from now until December 1st Ill likely be posting sporadically at best, and after December 1st, Ill likely not post much if at all as I move away from the business of magic, and refocus myself and my efforts in life.
I will post a final round of standard pricing updates before I go, hopefully within the next week or so. Thanks for everything guys.

If the store owner says that I can't trade in the premises, I'll just go outside. If he says that I can't trade within 10m of his premises, I'll go to 11 meters. If he says that he doesn't want to see me trading, I will put a basket over his head and continue trading.
Yes, he's a local legend. He's only known to take his clothes off before he goes into the Ladies' Lockerroom. Nobody knows what he does in there because he's invisible, but it's almost certainly tons of masturbating.
The card's most recent move is on right. means no movement. is a card that wasn't on the list last update. This is the update's hottest mover. (#) is price in CND incl. shipping here.
Only Jarad Golgari Lich Lord fell below the $3 threshold this update, so there are still 24 cards worth opening in a booster pack. Pretty incredible for any set, let alone one that has been out for a month or so already!
Jace, still #1 by a longshot, drifted a few bucks lower. In fact, most cards overall fell by about 5% as the 2nd and 3rd print runs hit the market, so I'll just mention the cards that bucked that trend. Armada Wurm fell by $1 but Vraska fell by $5, so the Wurm moves to 3rd place. The duals all maintained their relative positions while losing about a buck each. Deathrite Shaman flew ahead, gaining an additional 40% in price since the last update, making it the top nonland rare! Decks everywhere are looking at this guy as a potential win condition, or just a useful and cheap utility creature. Trostani lost some of the gains it recently made - will it become a casual staple or was it just a flash in the pan? Abrupt Decay has now pitifully fallen from 20 to about 8. Rakdos's Return and Detention Sphere were hot last update but now seem to be cooling again. Lotleth Troll is another that doesn't seem to be living up to expectations, although I will always love it no matter what for its efficiency, colours, trample, and graveyard interaction. Chromatic Lantern sells well at $5 on my site but can be had for half that on eBay, so I'm not sure what to do with that one. I think it has a strong future (and reminds me a bit of Coalition Relic).
Uncommons and commons are starting to sell, for me. Top uncommons are Dreg Mangler, Dryad Militant, Izzet Charm, Judge's Familiar, Rakdos Cackler, Selesnya Charm, Ultimate Price, Call of the Conclave, Guttersnipe, and Azorius Charm.
Overall, sales remain good to strong. I'm currently sorting my 3rd case, and have a 4th on order. Box value remains incredibly high, as you can see here.
Thank you very much to Jeff for all his contributions over the past couple years! Good luck
Off to reprice AR and M13.... getting caught up on a bunch of stuff! My grama is still sick, but was discharged from hospital and being taken care of at home by the family, so we're hopeful she's out of the woods and will make it (with a few lifestyle changes) for a while more. Yay grama!
Well it is good to see that all of the shocklands are finally dipping down in prices. And not all being worth $20.... They are just rares after all. I'm hoping to see them at their old prices from the first time the dust settled in ravnica. They were $5-$10 depending on which ones. Plus once the next set comes goes I think they will probably drop huge because no one will want them and the whole standard dynamic shall have changed for the better.
Considering Modern season is approaching, I doubt any of the shock lands will drop much more than they already are.
How great is this with the already amazing fetchlands? How needed is this going to be as the block progresses? Remember Coalition Relic? This is Darksteel Ingot quality, in a rare. One of the best mana stones printed in a very long time. A casual beast. High quality mana never goes out of style. Fixing and acceleration in one card.
Ten bucks a playset seems dangerously low to me. I'm a buyer
