2x Foil English Theros Thoughtsieze for $50. Foil legacy staples tend to shoot up in price over time, but I'm afraid the price on these these will tank after they rotate out of standard.
Buy or pass?
Yes, if you are getting both for $50 do not hesitate to scoop them up.
I would buy the Theros Seizes for $50. You will have legacy and modern demand after rotation and I wouldn't be surprised to see modern pimping oick up once the format steadies a little more and the B&R list is done changing so much.
Edit: I would pick up a NM Taiga at $41. A few months ago they were going for at least $50 for NM. Haven't looked lately, but probably still around there.
2) I am currently in excess of umezawa jittes (CoK) and would like to trade them for Aether vials (MM if possible). I check their values on several sites and they are very close. Do you think anyone would accept such a trade?
Yes I'd trade vials for Jitte. I get ask for Jitte more often then Vial.
Is Temporal Manipulation worth investing in if I can get a NM copy for $40? It seems like the kind of card that's only worth money because it's Portal, but at the same time it is a hot seller on eBay.

It's a commander staple, so if you play the format and intend on using it, I'd say it's worth picking up.
If you're just buying it and hoping for a price increase, I wouldn't. It would only take one reprint of this over time warp in an expansion to cut the price by 2/3rds more.
I wouldn't touch manipulation right now. I wouldn't be remotely surprised to see it reprinted in next years commander decks, as WotC has shown they have done some high end portal reprints in this years decks (hua tuo from P3K was close to 70 before the reprint and has already dropped almost 20 bucks.)

MP Gaea's Cradle at $85 shipped? What do you think? It will be my 4th one, so I can potentially play Elves in Legacy.

Legacy - Sneak Show, BR Reanimator, Miracles, UW Stoneblade
Premodern - Trix, RecSur, Enchantress, Reanimator, Elves https://www.facebook.com/groups/PremodernUSA/ Modern - Neobrand, Hogaak Vine, Elves
Standard - Mono Red (6-2 and 5-3 in 2 McQ)
Draft - (I wish I had more time for limited...)
Commander - Norin the Wary, Grimgrin, Adun Oakenshield (taking forever to build) (dead format for me)
Eh I'm not too keen on MP cradle at 85. You could get a NM copy for 20 dollars more via bidding on ebay or being patient or a lightly played one BiN for 20 more as well.

A fair considering where the cards sit now. I wouldn't expect anything but the siezes to hold value long term. Nykthos might be propped up by EDH pimps, but that remains to be seen. I would only be a buyer if I could flip the other two cards quickly for 35+ total
So, Abrupt Decay. There was a lot of hype for this card as a Modern/Legacy staple when RTR released, but it quickly fell to $5 and has been sitting around there for its entire career in Standard. It's still 5-6 at the moment. Would a set or two be a solid investment, or was the hype for this card way overblown?

Ask yourself how many decks play it in eternal formats, plus how many casual decks like it, plus how likely is it to be reprinted? This is why most people like it to rise in the future. It hasn't risen yet due to the fact that it's set was opened in massive quantities and just went OOP.
If you were able to get it all for $240 total including any fees or anything and didn't have to put any time into finding them, it isn't too bad. It would be $310 plus shipping from SCG, so I would say that isn't too bad.
If you put in the work to buy each one individually, I would say you should have been able to get it for around $40 less, if not more. You would have had to put in more effort to look but you can get most of them off eBay for $20 shipped if you are persistant.
Deathrite Shamans can be found pretty easily for $10 a pop, is it just me or does this seem pretty low? Is there speculation on a reprint I don't know about? Usually I don't spend a lot on cards, but a playset for $40 seems almost too good to pass up. Thoughts?

It theoretically could be in the Jace vs Vraska deck.

I can buy one in the following condition for $20 shipped.

Obviously the back makes it HP but it's not like it's noticeable in a sleeve, and it's only going to be used for EDH. Buy?

It seems the most popular ones are topping at TCG low for NM ~$25, More of them are closer to $18- $22. You probably could have done a little better.
I forgot I actually got a Boros Reckoner as well. Does that make it a deal good enough to make?
