This looks like normal shrink wrapping but I wanted to get a few more opinions on it. Also do you all think it would be better to open and sell the boosters or sell the box?

i'm 99% sure it's gonna be a better bet to sell it as a whole or by the individual packs.
curious though, how'd you get it?
Oh yeah we would not bust it but I meant do you think it would get more as the box or as single boosters. I know a lot of people are paranoid about people being able to see the rare in the pack.
We got it from a guy that plays board games and wanted to sell some stuff for store credit to buy some board games.

Gotcha yeah, i'm no expert but I bet it's still better to sell it as a whole. Guarantees buyers that it was never picked through etc. You'll have a few pros add in their 2 cents soon
Worth more as a sealed box if you ask me, sealed boxes of revised are becoming harder and harder to find, Ive noticed this trend continuing up on many of the more recent popular boxes from the last 8 years.
You might be able to get a little bit more packing it out, but I personally would feel more comfortable buying a sealed box than buying the packs, given that you can somewhat see through them vs the sets that came out after that.
Up to you though, but I definitely wouldnt open them, unless you figure the cards could be graded and you get some lucky pulls, even then Im not sure the math would work out.
So does that shrinkwrapping look normal to you all?

Odds of pulling a JtMS from a WWK pack: 1:80
Odds of pulling any specific rare in 5th Edition: 1:133
So, on average, 1 JtMS every 2.222 boxes or 1 Bird of Paradise every 3.694 boxes. Yeah, I'll take my odds with Mythics, they are easier to get than old rares.

what are your chances of pulling out a piece of the power 9 if it has NOT been picked over by seeing the rare?
From a Revised box? 0% chance of pulling a piece of the power 9. The best you could hope for is duals. But, with all the terrible terrible rares in the set, you might pull 1-2 duals - if you're lucky. Doesn't really seem worth it. Better to sell it as a sealed box.
Shrink wrap looks normal to me too. I know 4th had that same wrap, but I can't speak for 5th, not that 5th boxes are worth anything. By 6th they had installed the branded paper.

Out of the blackness and stench of the engulfing swamp emerged a shimmering figure. Only the splattered armor and ichor-stained sword hinted at the unfathomable evil the knight had just laid waste.
Sell it sealed, it's obvious. With all the moaning about early packs being kinda translucent, you should be able to charge a wee bit extra for your customer's safety, not to mention that sealed it's more of a collector's item than unsealed.
I see but one alternative to selling it and it's definitely not ripping the packs - even if that box is worth just $600 (which, AFAIK, is a _bit_ on the cheap side), you'd need to open like twelve duallands to recoup that cost, which sounds completely unrealistic. No, if I had an unopened box of revised (or any really old box, for that matters) and I lived in area with big enough amount of interested players, I would organize a revised draft. Basically, even the cost of the box between 8 dudes, give each 4 packs for the draft itself (not a usual 3 since they're choke full of basics; just 3 won't be sufficient, I think), put four packs as prizes and roll it like in '94(though, iirc, they weren't really drafting back then, but it doesn't matter). That would be an awesome thing to do, but it all relies on your local playerbase and theirs interest in oldschool stuff.

i'd find it hard to have a treasure trove like that AND resist the urge to open it, even if I did own a store and profits were to be made.
It'd be very hard to resist that urge . . . I speak as a player and a collector, but I don't own a store . . .
One thing is for sure, if they (the boosters) have not been picked over for the rares, then you are literally sitting on a gold mine, possibly.

I'm with achilles though, it'd be hard for me not to open it.

Listen to jeffbcrandall, he knows his prices.
been away from this game way too long
then yeah, leave it shrink wrapped and sell it.
