I have a friend who thinks he has gotten fake snapcasters with chinese language ( i think ?) and they just have a slightly greasy feel to them, is there any kind of different printing process or did he get scammed big time ? im thinking he got screwed, but is there a shot that he just got an odd run or they are made differently for the chinese cards ?

Chinese and Asian cards are printed in a different place from english cards and they are known to be glossier and more matte. It's especially noticeable when altering cards, as the paint sort of slides off them.
Ok cool, thanks for the response, are there any easy tests besides say the bend test we could apply to them, or should we just accept that they feel a little glossy but thats really about it.

You could try a rosette test with a loupe or a black light test, but otherwise it should be fine. Now that I actually think about it, I don't think I've ever seen foreign fake cards.
