There are only a few requirements to this quest, of which the most important is: post at least once in two days, but once per day or more would be perfect, I myself will keep me to this rule as well as much as possible (I will announce any inactivity of myself the day before).
Use of card tags is not required but doing so is supported by me because it is easier for me to track what you are doing.
Lastly, experience will be awarded in the following way:
Battle Difficulty(= the difficulty of battles in perspective of the player):
Easy = 1,0
Moderate = 2,0
Hard = 3,0
Very Hard = 4,0 Roleplaying (= how well the player roleplayed in the quest):
Moderate = 0,5
Good = 1,0
Very good = 2,0
Amazing = 3,0 Level Bonus (= for lower level players a bonus will apply):
Level 1 = 2
Level 2 = 1
Level 3 or higher = 0 Formula:
Total Battle Difficulty / Number of Battles + Roleplaying + Level Bonus = Earned Experience
[Izzet Troubles]Chapter Two: Fiery Truth
A small Izzet facility a few miles of the coast near the main facility of Estark has been raided by what we believe to be phyrexians, none inside survived altough there might be survivors in the woods nearby. We need 2 mages to investigate what is going on there and find any possible survivors. Please sign this paper and report at the Izzet representative in Quen's Tavern if you are interested.
Looking for 2 mages of level 1 or 2.
- Tharian of the Rime/DalkonCledwin
- Kazmit/SeraphPrime
OOC: DalkonCledwin, SeraphPrime, are you two ready? The talk with the Izzet representative will be held in this thread, so your first objective is to go to the tavern, where you will meet him and each other.
OOC: why am I always sending you PM's right as you are posting the threads???? I really need to learn more patience In any case on to check in
IC: Tharian walks into the tavern, not quite sure what he is looking for, he walks up to the bar keep and asks him for directions to the Izzet representative that is to be found within the tavern somewhere.
OOC: personal texts will be green for Kazmit and blue for Tharian.
Quen, the keeper of the tavern, points towards a man clothed in a blue robe with red designs on it, the most striking is obviously the large emblem of a crowned dragon across the chest, when Tharian asks for the Izzet representative.
When Kazmit enters the tavern he sees what must be kin to a dragon facing the barkeeper, the latter is pointing to a man in the corner clothed in red and blue, the representative maybe?
After getting his directions Tharian thanks the barkeep and heads over to the representative and says "I am here about the job for the Izzet. Supposedly there is another person coming, a one 'Kazmit' but I do not know what he looks like or what his mana affiliation happens to be."
As Kazmit and Umbros enter the tavern, Tharian turns around to see the new person entering the tavern and says "WHAT is THAT????" pointing at Umbros.... having never seen a Great cat before in his life he wasn't quite sure what to make of Umbros....
At hearing the startling of the dragon man, Kazmit mearly smiled. That would be Umbros. And watch what you say, he's claims he's been itching for a new chew toy. And with that Kazmit approached the strange blue and red clad being. Are you the one I see about the notice of Fiery Truth?

"I would like to see him make a chew toy out of my armored scales" Tharian grumbles under his breath. "So you are this Kazmit person... who also signed up to do help the Izzet? Interesting." Tharian then turns back to the Izzet representative, and says "We are both here now, if you don't mind telling us what it is we are expected to do for you, we could finally get this job under way."
"Okay..." the representative started "It was a few days ago when a small facility of ours was attacked by what we believe to be phyrexians. Everyone was slaugthered except for maybe one or two who might have fled into the woods nearby. Your task is to find out what really happened, if possible find the missing persons and bring report back to me. Because you don't know the way there I will give you a guide with you who will bring you two there, he is waiting outside." he stared at them as he asked a last question, it was clear he had a full agenda so little time for them "Anything else you need to know?"
"Phyrexians? That is odd, I didn't think they were all that powerful yet... Where I come from they are big, but clumsy. In any case, I would like to know what we can expect to recieve as recompense for our services?" Tharian asks.
The man raised an eyebrow, because he probably couldn't believe that there was anyone who didn't know about the big phyrexian invasion, but he explained "Some time ago they started the invasion on our soil, millions came here, billions of the living where slaugthered. They are cunning, evil abominations with only one mission: to destroy all living things, but for now, we have been able to repel them a bit." he continued about the rewards "You will be given a large amount of gold as compensation for your hard work, that is, if you return with enough information."
OOC: edited my last post due to the Phyrexian Snowcrusher and other similar cards found in Cold Snap...
IC: "Just out of curiousity, what qualifies as "enough information"? Like do we have to drag the missing people back, along with a few phyrexian corpses? Or do we just have to bring the missing people back, so you can question them yourself? Or do we just have to find the missing people, find out what they know, and bring back the information they give us for you?" Tharian muses.
OOC: I editted my post too for the sake of good stories
"Bring back any information you can find about the attack, and bring back the survivors if possible so we can hear what they have to say too. If you find any phyrexians in the area, slaughter them in the name of Firemind."
With that Tharian glances over to Kazmit and says "Well Kazmit, have you heard what you need to hear? Are we ready to go meet our guide on this quest?"

Let's go. Kazmit stand stoically waiting. He'd been listening the whole time, the chew toy asking all the right questions. Kazmit reached down and scratched Umbros' ear as he headed for the door to meet the guide.

Tharian follows Kazmit outside, and looks for a person dressed in the same manner of garb as the Representative of the Izzet Clan, assuming they would both be working together, and thus dressed similarly.
Remembering about the rain at the last minute before stepping outside, Tharian wraps his wings around him as a cloak (see attached image for point of reference). He then steps outside.
A male goblin dressed in less rich orange and blue clothes but definitely a member of the Izzet awaits the pair outside, he bows and introduces himself "I am Bogazidar, but call me Bogaz for short. I guess you are the two I need to guide? What are your names?"
"I am Tharian of the Rime, but just call me Thar for short." Tharian says indicating himself. He then looks over to Kazmit and wrinkles his nose still a little angry about being called a chew toy, he refuses to introduce this person.

Kazmit. Kazmit just points to himself. Indicating and the larger panther he says Umbros. And with a bit of a chuckle and a grin on his face he says Chew Toy. As he points at Thar.

Soon the trio finds them outside the city and walking over a grassy plain, the goblin isn't walking very fast now so they have no difficulty to keep up.
OOC: if you want to RP a bit then this is the moment, remember that I greatly reward good roleplaying so you better take advantage of this opportunity.
