They showed off a little bit of lore and art from a panel and there was enough I figred to start this out;
-The Evil Queen like character is named Eriette of the Charmed Apple
-The enchanted sleep that the phyrexians fell too is starting to effect people
-Will and Rowan diagree on what is best to do for the plane; Will is trying to be peaceful is leading people after the death of his parents, Rowan is after power thinking that is what is need to fix Eldraine. Of note; first card art we see of Will with his prosthetic legs and Rowan is sporting a new hair cut and it looks like shes sided with Eriette based on her new armor
-Ashiok is here, through the grape vine seemly Will and Rowan desparked but Ashiok still has theirs.
“There are no weak Jews. I am descended from those who wrestle angels and kill giants. We were chosen by God. You were chosen by a pathetic little man who can't seem to grow a full mustache"
"You can tell how dumb someone is by how they use Mary Sue"
I'm wondering if this is rowan and wills birth mom? (She resurrected)
I think thats a very good theory.

I agree with you on this. I love her mantle is made of broken mirrors.
So here is Ashiok, hiding on Eldraine. I'd think Ashiok would be on New Phyrexia to witness the end of Norn, or perhaps Ashiok was, just planeswalked to Eldraine right after.
Ashiok and Oko are made for each other. The greatest fear of any sensible people is "betrayal", and the two love those.
Are they doing a timeskip? Will and Rowan look much older than before - easily ~10 years.
Edit: Nevermind, the box art shows them as their usual around-20 selves. So maybe it's just a "different artists" thing. But maybe the witch could have something to do with it?
Didn't see the stream, but why do I have this nasty hunch that the Questing Beast got Compleated and that's why the Realms are in such turmoil right now (i.e. auditions for the new High King have been cancelled indefinitely)?
-Ashiok is here to prey on those trapped in the enchanted sleep whose nightmares are fresh from the horrors of the phyrexia invasion
-Indeed Ashiok still has a spark while the twins have desparked
Roy kinda makes it seem like maybe the one or both the twins might regain a spark but that might be looking too much into it. Would be interesting though if they somehow gain separate sparks vs sharing one like they had.

So, confirmed walkers with a spark are Ajani, Chandra, and Ashiok. While I’m still expecting sparks to return/reawaken by the end of Ixalan’s set, it would be nice to see a list or something on who got desparked and who didn’t.
I’m liking the look so far for Wilds, I am curious if all the Courts will be reconstructed though. Also, dare I hope for a R/W warrior Dwarf as a new legend?
Call me a grumpy old man, but I'm not a fan of this constant silly humour like "haha the ginger woman is now a knight and she's out for blood isn't that funny?". No.
-The set will be a lot more fairy tale themed this time vs Arthurian
-We meet the other two witch sisters to Eriette of the Charmed Apple, Hylda of the Icy Crown and Agatha of the Vile Cauldron
-Each two color pair will be based on a fairy tale; UB-Sleeping Beauty (which is also a general motif of the story), WU- The Snow Queen, BG- Hansel and Gretel, WB- Snow White, GR- Little Red Riding Hood, UG- Jack and the Beanstalk
-On the note of Jack we have a Trojan a vedalken with a few people saying he traveled through an omenpath and ended up in Eldraine
-Kellan is a lord of the high fey tasked to break the slumbering curse, we are told to keep an eye on him

Here we go, this is the most fun part in a new set's release schedule, before the stories start getting put up and turn out to be disappointing.
Kind of a bummer that they decided to reduce the Arthurian elements. They helped to balance out Eldraine a bit so it wasn't just a 100% top-down "do you recognize these popular Fairy Tales?" theme park. I hope by giving the the main fairy tales so much room, they expand on them a bit and add their own stuff (instead of just making 1:1 references). At least the art they showed so far looks good. Such a pleasant set to look at after the recent few, which were all rather boring art-wise imo.
I do love that UB fae play a big role in the story, Talion looks neat. Color-wise, red seems to be a bit under-represented (it gets no witch and no major fairy tale).
I guess Kellan could end up sparking at the end of the story, like Quintorius in MOM, or use an Omenpath to go where the story requires him next (it's called the "Omenpath arc" after all). I suppose him doing the quest on Eldraine will allow him to solve another part of the bigger conflict down the line

I wouldn't call it constant. I would call it showing up on like 2 cards a set on average, and just coming off of a few sets of nonstop horror

Project Booster Fun makes it less fun to open a booster.
Stories start August 8th and the Author is K. Arsenault Rivera and only 5 chapters again. I really hope they start letting the fiction have more chapters to breath, 5 just isn't enough unless they give the author a higher word count. On the postive I think Rivera has wonderful when it comes to the prose and is a a fellow vorthos so I'm looking forward to see her work again. Wonder if she will get another wedding story, it is a fairy tale themed after all.

We already got the spoiler on Twitter from Wizards that Kellan is a lord of the high fae (yet a changeling with no lordship in Episode 1). I'm currently betting he's not the (petty) king, but there's a chance Kellan's father is indeed toast.

Looks like they are still doing the reverse role trend just like last time
in The real story the wolf was disguised as a human. This time a human was disguised as a wolf. And it’s ruby's brother (ruby is the little red ridding hood of eldraine)

That part actually reminded me of the folk tales I've read where a wolf that helps the party out turns out to be an enchanted knight or prince.
Tangential bonus points for the Wolf Knight being named "Peter" of Peter and the Wolf fame (that little boy hunting down a wolf to Prokofiev's music? Yeah, that boy).
Oh forgot to mention one theory came to mind who kellans father might be.
Could Oko be a potential suspect as the father
He is a fae and kellan is half fae
plus on the thunder junction picture the middle figure in that picture is speculated to be kellan because of the shoulder pads
oh and I might getting be getting a idea of how kellan will be very important for this three year arc
2 chapters in and he’s already forming a avengers type of team in eldraine plus we’re likely getting the veldaken added in chapter 3 to help them climb the beanstalk
and I’m willing to bet in the ending he learns about planes and learns about his dad and goes threw omenpaths to find him. And one of the 2024 sets he learns about the big bad guy/girl of this arc and works on making a team to stop that person

The Kenrith scions are back, looking older and more serious. Will has his ice leg he "earned" during the Strixhaven ordeal.
There's some kind of mysterious sleeping curse troubling the people of Eldraine. Where we have heard it already...?
There is some lady with a perfectly harmless apple, I am sure.
And there is someone out for blood....I mean, crumb debt to settle.
Let this great clan rest in peace (2001-2011)
I think thats a very good theory.

Evil witch art is absolutely phenomenal - I love the mirrored hood exposing her true appearance and age. Excellent touch.
I'm feeling a vibe that WOE may be Eldraine done right, as the Storybook/Camelot world we originally wanted

i Have two theory’s
1. it’s the kings other son and he ends up going threw omenpaths and learns the next arc
2. If he came from a omenpath the first theory that comes to mind is he’s from theros since his armor and equipment look very very similar to gideons

this might potentially gives us a ID on which plane the vedalken (eldraines jack) is from.
He has pointed ears like an elf. There’s only one plane that had vedalkens with elf ears, and that’s kaladesh
