Now with Emrakul confirmed on Innistrad, do you think it's possible we see the first plane we know collapse? Or will Emrakul be fought or killed off and Innistrad saved?
Two favorite planes in a row, completely ruined...
Looks like my Innistrad map will be a memorial piece as well.

Innistrad is also very popular and will not be sacrificed. But frankly, it should be destroyed IMO.
Emrakul will be sealed in silver no doubt. Or at best, chased off the plane. Sigarda will probably have a lot of white mana invested in her and become the new Avacyn.
Personally, I choose to believe it would add more to the story, if Innistrad goes down.
Gatewatch would receive a big blow and their confidence gets crushed, and it would heat up the Sorin and Nahiri feud.
And despite Innistrad being a very popular world, to me it seems like a one-trick pony, which I have now seen twice.
I believe Emrakul will be sealed inside the moon and her warping presence will keep seeping out into the world, thus turning Innistrad into a permanent horror world. Truth be told, it was hard to justify having Innistrad as a horror world after Avacyn Restored, but this way you can keep mutations (monsters in the woods) and madness (crazy scientists and/or cults) to keep up the horror atmosphere, whenever Wizards needs it. All of that without the need to justify why there is horror once more.
I don't know if the actual plane will die but I'm not sure there will be many living things left on it. Or at least ones that have any sort of mind left. So maybe just a voided plane? With seemingly everyone falling under Em's control and all the mutation? I'm not sure the mutants will want to live once she is gone.
It'll be destroyed as we know it because they got overly wedded to a few of the concepts of the plane and didn't know how to have more blocks on it. What comes out will probably look more like Twilight than a Hammer Film.

It'll be fine. Emrakul being sealed in the moon seems really likely, feels like they hinted at that a lot lately. With Emrakul doing her thing and no Avacyn it'll make Innistrad really dark.
Don't get why people thought Avacyn ruined the dark flavor. Her presence waxes and wanes based on her need, future Innistrad would not have been as hopeful as AR, but it needs some hope. Emrakul and no positive influence basically means no chance of survival, closer to an even worse Grixis.

While i agree with the second half, the first seems impossible.
It originally took three god-like planeswalkers 40 years to construct a prison to hold the three titans. We know Nahiri could barely make a new primary sealed Hedron on her own, and she was still pre-mending. When she went to visit Sorin, he can just made The Helvault and Avacyn and he was basically out of energy, Nahiri was actually hurting him. Again, he was a god-like power levels back than.
How are half a dozen post-mending walkers going to create something that severally weakened a single pre-mending planeswalker.
Oh, i know, WotC Fiat....

Hi, I'm new!
Mark my words, the Year of Eldrazi will not be the last we see of them.
I can see them creating some sort of cliffhanger where the plane doesn't get destroyed but is in a state of turmoil so that they might have another reason to go back
similar to how Zendikar was in turmoil after RoE so they could make BFZ block
or I could see them defeating Emrakul the block after the other 2 got defeated, which would be a waste IMO
I sincerily don't know why anyone would return to Innistrad after this. Emrakul already made this world more of a nightmare than it could ever hope to be, and the only source of salvation is gone.
At best, any future installments will create a severe audience apathy from all the darkness.
As much as I love Innistrad, I think the story would be better if it were destroyed. There's not a chance of that happening, though. Wizards would never destroy one of their most popular settings of all time for the sake of the story.
I hope not. I hope the Eldrazi are utterly destroyed never to curse anther set again. I don't care if we ever see Innistrad again or not. Fun plane but flip cards are bad for limited in my opinion. I just want Eldrazi to go away and never ever comeback. Too bad, that I doubt they will utterly destroy the last of the titans. Wizards seems to be in love with the most uninteresting of villains. The moon thing makes sense since it is the most predictable of outcomes preserving both the Eldrazi to ruin even more blocks, and Innistrad which is a fun world. Or maybe they can drive her away so they can follow and make the horrid "Eldrazi VS The Gatewatch 3: Eldrazi on Kaladesh" and so on. Personally I think they are smart enough to shelve them for now and they trap Emrakul on the moon. It is easily the most obvious of solutions and that is all Wizards can do as far as plot. Emrakul was so obvious, so why should her temporary defeat be any less?
If I am to believe the trailer, the story structure will go about the same as it did for the stories of Oath of the Gatewatch.
Kozilek Emrakul appears because Ob Nixilis Nahiri wills an Eldrazi to wreak havoc upon Zendikar Innistrad out of vengeance. Just as our heroes are about to die, Chandra Liliana comes to the rescue and uses a s***ton of fire zombies to change the tide of the battle. The biggest question for me is whether Emrakul dies as well because I know I shouldn't read too much into the grave trigger being removed like with Kozi and Ulamog... but I am.
All that being said, Innistrad could still be destroyed. But that's as likely as Wizards just offing Lovecraftian horrors in complete disregard for the... source... oh... oh, dear.

Assuming the formula to destroy Emrakul is the same as Ulamog and Kozilek and with a generous assumption Jace + Sorin can track the leyline patterns, Chandra has no reason to pass by to provide Ghostfire this time round, because no one went to inform her this time around. It so happens the next plane we're visiting is Kaladesh... we'll need something to buy time to fetch Chandra. While I'm not sure if Emrakul is capable of wiping Innistrad fast enough (Ula and Kozi took 2 years and didn't completely wipe Zendikar), because I'm not sure of Emra's relative power and Innistrad's relative size, I doubt they'll just leave that risk running about either.
That leaves sealing. I mean, if the title (and the Helvault) didn't make it obvious enough, the Moon is definitely playing a role in that. Unlike with Nahiri, it's probably not going to solve all the problems, considering it's still relatively makeshift to the Hedron Network, so it's just going to buy time.
With a bit of hope, perhaps this angers Arlinn Kord to some degree (the moon affects them) and the "Gatewatch" makes an "enemy" out of her instead. One Ob-Nixilis isn't quite enough (Bolas doesn't count since he hasn't come in direct contact with the Gatewatch). As awesome as Arlinn Kord is, I can stand with her being an antagonist to the Gatewatch without being "evil" in the traditional way, it'll probably make her shine better, honestly.
Then we'll all cry when we get Battle for Innistrad.

While I don't think it will happen you are making a very big mistake. Yes it took 40 years for Nahiri(yes only Nahiri, with Ugin's guidance) to create the prison/beacon on Zendikar, they aren't 'making' anything on Innistrad. Only utilizing what already exist, the Moon. The only implausible part about sealing Emrakul in the moon is that currently no one is trying that. There is no need for situation/plot driven power boost. Moonsilver has been established to have sealing properties and it has been shown that mages can interact with the moon from the surface, Sorin calling down a beam of light to seal Nahiri's movements. So while people wouldn't like it, there would be no plot/belief stretching have Emrakul sealed in the moon, we just need someone(probably Sorin) to suggest it, and then for the great Jace to explain how they can all combine their powers to complete this task.
Yes it would be lame for Jace to take the helm like that and based on the trailer it isn't happening so no worries.
If they didn't destroy Zendikar then there's no way in hell Innistrad kicks the bucket. There's more of Innistrad to be seen. Non-wolf werebeasts, possibly elves? There's more stories to be told in this world and Emmy being trapped in the moon will only make those stories more interesting.
Actually I think that the last Eldrazi titan will survive, in fact it may be shown that she HAS TO survive. Look at the way they tell their stories while dropping hints to future plotlines in the art of certain cards, and then the last chapter of the Gatewatch story.
Ugin to Jace "You've killed two living creatures that were older than worlds," said Ugin. "Without knowing their purpose, their role, the impact of their lives or their deaths—you risked this entire plane and unknown consequences beyond it to kill them.
"What will happen now?" said Jace.
"Unknown," said Ugin. "As far as I'm aware, no one has ever killed an Eldrazi titan before. I have theories about what the Eldrazi are, and what might happen now that two of them are dead. The consequences may not accrue until long after all of you are dead, so you may count this as a victory if you wish. I, for my part, will study their remains, and prepare for the future."
However I don't think everyone will make it out alive.
Assuming the formula to destroy Emrakul is the same as Ulamog and Kozilek and with a generous assumption Jace + Sorin can track the leyline patterns, Chandra has no reason to pass by to provide Ghostfire this time round, because no one went to inform her this time around.
Pretty sure the last story mentioned Jace facing Chandra and Gideon already, and they all are seen in a trailer sequence along with Nissa fighting the Eldrazi abominations on Innistrad.
Maybe sealing Emrakul in the moon will alter the moon, and all moon-affected creatures will feel I'mrakul, but the Nahiri in the Helvault story didn't suggest anything like that. In fact it made it pretty impossible to interact with the outside world, so Emrakul's presence surpassing that is speculative. If the Innistrad plane is not going down, at least I would like to have that as an alternative scenario though.
A huge disappointed would be if she would be sealed away, without any consequences for the plane. Or scaring her away, and Emrakul being a looming threat in the multiverse seems like an other unsatisfying scenario for now.
I guess I can agree with you guys who say that Innistrad will be saved, if at the cost of being permanently warped into Emrakul's prison.
Personally, I'd rather have Innistrad destroyed. Wiped out completely. Not to establish that Emrakul, as an Eldrazi, is still a viable threat to the multiverse despite the demise of its, um, 'siblings', but rather to give a relatively more dignified end to Innistrad.
What I mean is, with Sorin having been derailed into a hapless, moody jackass, and Avacyn offed in the most unceremonious way possible, it would've been better we never see Innistrad again. Everything, or should I see, the most flavorful aspects of Innistrad, that is, its absentee lord and its protector, have been thoroughly trampled to dust, and it's better we never talk about it again ever.
I don't think the developers of magic lore have the stones to destroy Halloween town. If things were years ago maybe but not now.
I say that but from a creative standpoint I don't see them killing Soren's home world with Soren still alive, and I pray to god they don't kill him off. He's basically become the planeswalker sage more or less for the new power rangers. I see him sacrificing himself one day for them but not now. Lily needs to go full team avengers first, which might happen after this arch.

That's not actually creative's decision. They receive orders from higher up about what they can and can't do, and the executives certainly aren't going to let them destroy one of their best selling planes.

Judging by where the story is heading and Emrakul powers; I think that or Inistrad is destroyed and Emrakul leaves, or Emrakul is sealed in the moon but one planeswalker is killed or sealed alongside Emmy (most probably Nahiri).
