Hello.
My daughter attacks me with a white knight that has been enchanted with marked by honor
I block with a cudgel troll.
During first strike damage, the knight does 4 damage to the troll, i regenerate the troll
The troll isnt destroyed, gets tapped, has 4 damage removed, and gets removed from combat.
This means the knight doesnt die, right? Because it has first strike, correct?
When the troll gets removed from combat, during the first strike phase, it doesnt get to do its damage during normal combat, right?
At the end of the attack phase i just described, neither creature would die, the knight would be untapped because of marked by honor and the troll would be tapped because of regeneration,
If the knight didnt have 1st strike, at the end of combat, the knight would be dead, and the troll would be alive but tapped.
Do i have all of that right?
Thanks

This means the knight doesnt die, right? Because it has first strike, correct?
Here, Cudgel Troll didn't have first strike (or double strike), so it neither assigned nor dealt combat damage to White Knight (C.R. 702.4a, 702.4b; review C.R. 510.1, 510.2). So White Knight survives.
When the troll gets removed from combat, during the first strike phase, it doesnt get to do its damage during normal combat, right?
Yes, because Cudgel Troll was removed from combat and so is no longer a blocking creature and can't assign combat damage for the rest of the combat phase (C.R. 506.4; review C.R. 510.1, 701.15a).
Exactly. When it is removed from combat, it ceases to be a blocking creature. As the second combat damage step begins, it is neither an attacking nor blocking creature, so it doesn't get to assign combat damage.
506.4. A permanent is removed from combat if it leaves the battlefield, if its controller changes, if it phases out, if an effect specifically removes it from combat, if it’s a planeswalker that’s being attacked and stops being a planeswalker, or if it’s an attacking or blocking creature that regenerates (see rule 701.15) or stops being a creature. A creature that’s removed from combat stops being an attacking, blocking, blocked, and/or unblocked creature. A planeswalker that’s removed from combat stops being attacked.
510.1. First, the active player announces how each attacking creature assigns its combat damage, then the defending player announces how each blocking creature assigns its combat damage. This turn-based action doesn’t use the stack. A player assigns a creature’s combat damage according to the following rules:
510.1a Each attacking creature and each blocking creature assigns combat damage equal to its power. Creatures that would assign 0 or less damage this way don’t assign combat damage at all.

Why bother with mere rulings when so many answers can be found in the Rules?
Note, that in order to regenerate the troll, you have to activate the regeneration ability before combat damage, so in the declare blockers step at the latest. Because the things happening in order in the combat damage steps (all of them) are:
1) the attacking player assigns combat damage from attacking creatures to blocking creatures and players/planeswalkers for unblocked attackers
2) the defending player assigns combat damage from blocking creatures to the attacking creatures they blocked
3) combat damage is dealt as assigned
4) state based actions are checked, removing any creature with lethal damage marked or toughness 0 or less (among other things)
5) triggers go on the stack
6) the active player receives priority
7) if the active player passes, you get priority.
This would be the first time during the combat damage step, that you can cast spells or activate abilities. At this time, your troll is long dead. So in order to save it, the regeneration "shield" has to exist before the combat damage step begins. Only then will the regeneration replacement effect be able to save your creature.
