What is the ruling for this? I thought it would not recognize the backside of the card. While paying arena cube I was able to play the MDFC green bolt land from the top of my deck.
Using card tags is mandatory in the Magic Rulings forum. Please check your private messages to learn how to use them. I've added them for this post.

With Oracle of Mul Daya, you can play the back face of a modal double-faced card if that face is a land, regardless of what types the front face has (C.R. 711.8). This applies to Oracle of Mul Daya just as it does to Crucible of Worlds, Courser of Kruphix, or Yawgmoth's Will.
Note that Oracle of Mul Daya's last ability now says "You may play lands from the top of your library" (C.R. 108.1).
