I’m playing my Wort, the Raidmother edh deck and all I have on board is Wort and the tokens she makes. All of them are untapped. I cast Harvest Season and tap the two tokens to conspire it. Would I find 4 basics in this case? Thanks
Yes. Two from the copy, then two more from the original. In that order. Each of the spells (copy and original) look at the number of tapped creatures you control at the time they resolve. So you could, if you have the means, tap Wort as well in response to get a total of 6 lands, or an opponent could kill one or both tokens to deny you the lands.
Harvest Season checks the number of tapped creatures you control as the spell resolves, not at the time you cast it (C.R. 608.2g). Thus, when Harvest Season resolves, if you control two tapped creatures, you search your library for up to two basic land cards. See also this thread.
