Sorry if this is in the wrong thing this is my first timr using this but i want to know if Gratuitous Violence doubles damaged of creatures abilities

To be clear, the ability in question must (otherwise) have a "creature you control ... deal damage to a permanent or player" for Gratuituous Violence's ability to apply.
For example, Goblin Tinkerer's ability has a particular artifact, not necessarily Goblin Tinkerer itself, deal damage, and the ability of Kiku, Night's Flower or the last ability of Asmoranomardicadaistinaculdacar has a creature (controlled by any player) deal damage. In all these cases, a permanent that isn't a "creature you control" that would deal damage is outside the scope of Gratuitous Violence's ability.

And yes, Gratuitous Violence will double any the damage a creature you control would deal, even if it's because of an ability.
