So i have vampiric link, spirit link, and soul link.
I know i can enchant a opponents creature. My question is if i enchant a opponents creature does my opponent get the life gain or do i?
For these kinds of cards, it all depends on the specific wording, but Spirit Link, Vampiric Link, and Soul Link all themselves have triggered abilities themselves, and don't grant any abilities to the enchanted creature. These cards all cause THEIR controller to gain the life, not ENCHANTED CREATURE'S controller, when these abilities resolve.
The controllers of Vampiric Link, Spirit Link, and Soul Link (and other similarly worded auras) will gain any life generated by the triggered abilities, not the controllers of the creatures to which the auras are attached. If an opposing 3/3 creatures will all three auras attached by you attacks and is not blocked, you will take 3 damage from combat and gain 9 life from the triggered abilities that ensue.
So(im being a lil slow understanding this) haha would i still be the controler or woult the creatures controller be the controller of the enchantment
If you attach an Aura to a creature an opponent controls, that doesn't necessarily make you gain control of that creature. "An Aura's controller is separate from the enchanted object's controller or the enchanted player; the two need not be the same" (C.R. 303.4e). Any "you" on an Aura's triggered ability means only the player who controlled that Aura when it triggered, not necessarily the enchanted object's controller or the enchanted player (C.R. 109.5). See also this thread and this thread and compare Spirit Link, Vampiric Link, and Soul Link with Sixth Sense or Ghostly Touch.
It certainly is confusing.
When placed on an opponent's creature, some enchantments will make YOU gain life (Vampiric Link), but some others (like Mark of the Vampire) will make THEM gain life!
