So I know if I have Sheoldred, Whispering One and Braids, Cabal Minion in play, During my upkeep I would choose the order in which these triggers resolve. So I could choose Sheoldred to return a creature and then sac that creature to Braids' trigger.
Does ownership of the triggers matter? So let's say my opponent has a Sheoldred of his own via Phyrexian Metamorph. Now the stack has to resolve:
Sheoldred 1 (mine)
Sheoldred 2 (his)
Braids
Does he, as the active player, determine the order of resolution or does something else happen?

Active player(who's turn it is) puts all their triggers on the stack first in order they chose. Then non-active player does the same. The triggers of the person whos turn it is will resolve last.
603.3b If multiple abilities have triggered since the last time a player received priority, each player, in APNAP order, puts triggered abilities he or she controls on the stack in any order he or she chooses. (See rule 101.4.) Then the game once again checks for and resolves state-based actions until none are performed, then abilities that triggered during this process go on the stack. This process repeats until no new state-based actions are performed and no abilities trigger. Then the appropriate player gets priority.
101.4. If multiple players would make choices and/or take actions at the same time, the active player (the player whose turn it is) makes any choices required, then the next player in turn order (usually the player seated to the active player’s left) makes any choices required, followed by the remaining nonactive players in turn order. Then the actions happen simultaneously. This rule is often referred to as the “Active Player, Nonactive Player (APNAP) order” rule.
When several players have to put triggers they control on the stack at the same time, they do so in APNAP order. First the active player puts all his/her triggers on the stack in the order of his/her choosing, then the nonactive players in turn order do the same. So it matters, whose turn it is. If it's your turn, your opponent's Sheoldred trigger will always be on top of the stack above your triggers, and resolve first. If it's your opponent's turn, his trigger will always be on the bottom, and your triggers resolve first.
So in the example given, lets say it is just down to us (2 players, HIM vs ME) and it is his turn. His Sheoldred trigger goes on the stack, then I choose my Braids Trigger, he receives priority and passes back since he has no additional triggers to add and then I add my Sheoldred trigger leaving the stack looking like this:

No - you put all your triggers on the stack, then he puts all of his triggers on the stack.
His will resolve first.
edit: In addition, there's no priority passing while triggers are going on the stack. You can (and do) pass priority to get triggers to resolve, but all triggers are added to the stack before anyone has priority.

In OP's scenario it is HIM's turn so all of his triggers would go on the stack first and then OP's. Everything else is correct.

AP puts all triggers on the stack first and then NAP does. NAPs triggers will resolve first.
