What is the outcome if you play a threaten effect using quicken or Hypersonic dragon in response to a monstrous trigger. Does the trigger fizzle? If not who gets the added ability of the monstrous trigger the owner or the new controller?
Also can you steal control of a god card if you won't have the devotion to maintain it's creature status?
If you gain control of an arbor colossus with the "monstrosity 3" ability on the stack, then when that resolves, the "when this becomes monstrous ability triggers" and you'll control it. If you wait until the counters are already on the colossus and the "when this becomes monstrous" ability is on the stack, you opponent will control that trigger.
If the god is a creature, it can be the target of threaten, even if it would not be a creature on your side of the battlefield. Your opponent will get it back as normal.
1. You get the trigger because you now control the creature, and the creature has become monstrous. It's basically the same thing that happens if you've Threatened anything else and its ability triggers.
2. Absolutely. The targeting restriction for the listed spells is "Target creature," and until the spell resolves, the God will be a creature. You'll gain control of it, and if you don't have the requisite loyalty, it will simply be a noncreature enchantment.
