Just received a box of BFZ boosters from an ebay seller. The seller appears to be reputable (2000+ reviews with 100% positive feedback). The box came damaged (corner was smashed in), but I opened a couple of packs to check and the cards seem fine. The box was sealed with the plastic WoTC outer wrapping.
When I was looking at the packs, however, I noticed very suspicious slits on the edges of all of them (image in attachment). Now it has been YEARS since I last bought boosters (last one was Shards of Alara haha) so I cannot remember if all packs had these slits. What do you guys think? At these packs legit, or have they been tempered with?
Occasionally whatever machine they use to make the cuts screws up and you get a pack that's back to the old difficulty (such as it was) to open, and sometimes the cut ends up in a strange position compared to other packs, but yeah. Those are intentionally put there in the factory.
