Hi~ I was the one that spoiled the Release Promo for the Planechase "Tazeem"
because I own the card, I noticed that it is easily damaged.. and I do intend in buying all 4 packs, just that there are no sleeves available..
So then I looked around our local factories, and I have had custom made card sleeves that fit planechase cards.
I only had 1000 packs made (25 sleeves per packs) and the local card shop has already preordered 200 from me. The reason why it is 25 sleeves per pack, it was decided by the factory :S they said that because the sleeve is twice the size of the mtg cards, they will pack it like that for me. They are US$3 per pack, if you would be interested please send me an email at paradox_dreams@hotmail.com
how much will they go for and why 25? EDIT: Thanks for doing this BTW, not only can I protect my cards but I can see myself making a decent amount of cash.
also, can you post a pick of a normal card in sleeve next to a planechase card in sleeve?
thanks

1.) Anyone who thinks cancel is viable should be shot. in the face. with a hammer.
2.) You misunderstand, what I was suggesting was the total exclusion of Spellstutter Sprite, because it just isnt that good anymore.
3.) Understand, Dredge is not really a Magic: The Gathering deck. When a card is playable in it, it doesn't mean it's a tournament playable card. It means it's playable in whatever crazy fantasy world that Dredge operates in.
Thanks for some people's interest
I decided to just put more info on my blog, so if you are interested you can go have a look. Because I normally need to work in day times I dont have that much time to answer questions.
I will try to have photos posted up for everyone to see by the end of this week.
What's the quality of these sleeves? Are they like penny sleeves or more like the premium UltraPro sleeves or maybe Dragon Shields?
I'd be interested to know as well considering Ultra-Pro wants a million bucks for basically what amounts to 10 sleeves and some extra junk that almost no one needs...
I just got mine in the mail today, the sleeves are a little thicker than pennysleeves, maybe about 2 of them put together. They are definitely NOT cheap quality sleeves, I highly recommend them, especially considering the alternatives (forking over $40+ for the ultrapro set or playing without them)
Well, his link says they are sold out now. Any chance you would do another run? (If you managed to sell 1000 packs at any kind of profit, I imagine it couldn't be too hard to sell some more)

I got 3 packs of these (enough to cover all 41 current planes plus a healthy supply to cover future ones) and am very impressed.
I admit, I was a bit surprised that they opened on one of the long sides instead of one of the short ones, but it hasn't hampered my appreciation of them.
Given that I have little inclination to trade the planes away, I'm pondering just using tape or something to seal them anyway.

Seconded. Let me know if you're going to do another run, because I'd be interested in at least a couple dozen packs of them (Maybe more if they open from one of the short sides this time)

Wizards could put $100 bills in packs and people would complain about how they were folded. http://www.twitter.com/Dr_Jeebus - Follow me on Twitter!

Yes, please do another run and let us know! I'd buy it in a heartbeat!
EDIT: in the link in the OP's post is a link to an eBay auction, where he still sells them Woot!
Thanks! Just purchased a few packs.
For those who have these, does the fact that they open from the long side make them difficult to shuffle?

Just got mine today and I'm rather happy with my purchase. It's a very nice product, just perfect for Planechase. They're like penny sleeves, but it seems like they're more durable. Which is fine by me, as for my playgroup, we use the 41 stack of planes in one clump and don't shuffle often. I'm slightly paranoid about shuffling these, but they seem like they'll hold up well. I'm not going to be riffle shuffling these bad boys any time soon but the gap at the top doesn't seem to cause an issue.
I bought 5 packs, to safely insure I can sleeve the current run of Planes, any future ones for a long time, and have extras in stock. If you want a fairly inexpensive and solid way to protect your Planechase cards, this is it.
I saw these on eBay a while ago, but was wondering how thick they were. now that I hear that they are indeed a little higher quality than penny sleeves, I guess I'll give em a shot.
Finally got mine today (had to wait for e-check to clear, which takes forever). While not a sleeve you would usually use for a regular deck, they are stronger and higher quality than penny sleeves, as others have said. I have had no problems at all shuffling sideways, though it might be nicer if they had opened on the short end rather than the long end I'm not about to complain. This product is pretty much not available through any other source so I salute the seller for taking advantage of a gap in the market!

And good question. I guess you should shuffle them over the short side...
