Erm I speculate Ikoria will have a wedge mythical legendary creature cycle, the strongest of the bunch will be the temur mythic and the weakest will be the abzan mythic
I speculate there will be 3 planeswalkers in the set (seems to be the norm now) the Pw's will most likely be Kiora,a brand new pw (a bad guy/gal) and some pw that was introduced in the war of the spark
I speculate the create your own monster thing will be basically meld, but with a lot more creatures to combine, and that mechanic will tie with the Commander 2020 decks, perhaps something like partner but when you get both of them in the battlefield they meld for no cost?
I speculate the story will be something cliche like bad pw is enslaving kaiju dude and planing to destroy something but then ikoria and " some pw that was introduced in the war of the spark" will defeat him and he planeswalks away
I also predict some of these boxes will be "ticked"
Yea
I can definatly tell you the remaining 3 colors not used in commander ever since the no more color patters s are temur and abzan so those will definatly happen
I can put this on to board but if there’s enough of whatever the kaiju type is in all colors I can predict a five color deck

But I think temur will be kaiju tribal
I personally believe Ikoria will be a mix of Ixalan with Tarkir or Alara, just replacing the dinos with behemoths

Yes but I can tell you dragons and dino types will happen
It’s literally the set symbol alone that tells me it’s kaiju based because of how many times in Godzilla you see a eye zoom in like that

Behemoth is a beast mentioned in Job 40:15–24. Suggested identities range from a mythological creature to an elephant, hippopotamus, rhinoceros, or buffalo.[1] Metaphorically, the name has come to be used for any extremely large or powerful entity. Both are of Babylonian origin, where they are creatures of the primal Chaos, Behemoth of the Earth and male, Leviathan of the Ocean Deep and female.
When they said we would be able to make our own monster I thought about Meld right away, but it's wizards they will make some new mechanic, something like augment most likely?

All we know about the building involves something called “keyword counters” which are probably counters that gives a evergreen ability permanently to a creature (until leaves the field ofcoarse) without a aura/static ability on a permanent

I imagine there will be a lot of "Titanic" creatures from our favorite, iconic, big creature races. Giant Kakens, Leviathans, Hydras, Beasts, Perhaps Dragons, Maybe... Maybe Dinosaurs. I would also expect maybe Horrors and like, elementals or something as well. I would assume there is an ability called like, "Mutate", and whenever you mutate the creature, you get to pick a Keyword from the keyword token card and that creature retains that ability for as long as it remains on the battlefield. Now as we know, all Keywords are not created equally; I imagine Indestructible and Hexproof are probably pretty high up on the list for what you would want to "mutate" your behemoth with. So maybe it is possible that the keywords you add on to the creatures also have a cost involved. Additionally, giving a red Behemoth hexproof seems like a bend in the color pie, so some possibilities are that their are different keyword cards, or if its a single double sided card, the abilities will have costs associated with them. Either way, a double sided keyword token card sounds like we will likely have a lot of evergreen abilities, perhaps all of them. It will be interesting to see how R&D comes up with this mechanic.
Might be Vivian could be her new home plane since hers was destroyed by nicol bolas
I don't really like Vivian that much, but that thing looks awesome, I bet we are going to see some dinosaurs in this set, heck Ikoria could even be Viviens home plane before it was destroyed by Bolas, but I doubt it.
I just want unique mechanics and awesome looking monsters
Maro teasing us some info like he did in days of old;
Maro’s Ikoria Teaser
Previews for Ikoria: Lair of the Behemoths don’t start until April 2, but I’ve been getting a lot of requests from people cooped up at home that are eager for any content, so I decided to do something I used to do all the time back in my column in The Duelist. I’m going to be giving you a Maro Teaser where I give tiny hints of things to come. Note that I’m only giving you partial information.
The following can be found in Ikoria:
• Magic’s seventh Egg
• A card with the text “four or more times this game”
• A card with the text “total power 10 or less”
• Magic’s largest power/toughness granting aura.
• A card with the text “X is the number of times this creature has mutated”
• Magic’s third and fourth card with “(Zero is even.)” reminder text.
• Three cards with the text “different name(s)”
• Twelve different types of counters
• A card that says “choose a kind of counter at random”
• A card with the text “remove eight foreshadow counters”
• And a cycle that players have been asking us to make for over ten years
In addition, Ikoria has creatures with the following creature types:
• Dinosaur Turtle
• Shark Beast
• Demon Kraken
• Elemental Otter
• Brushwagg
• Hellion Horror
• and a Nightmare Squirrel (Yes, a Squirrel in a Standard-legal set!)
Hopefully, this can tide you all over until the previews begin on April 2nd. Enjoy!
And while this part could mean a number of things;
• And a cycle that players have been asking us to make for over ten years
made me wonder if the leaks are real and this is a nod to the ultimatum cycles.

Yep I just realized that I was hoping krosan verge lands but then I remembered the wedge ultimatums are still missing and one may have Ben spotted in the commander deck
I wonder if the card that has "remove 8 foreshadowing counters" has to do with a win con or extra turn scenario. Sounds like the steep cost you;d attribute to that. Or maybe a huge creature pump for all of your creatures.
The decade-long demand for a cycle could be the wedge ultimatums, but it could also be a completed allied-colour version of Horizon Canopy. They did recently make the enemy colour cycle in MH1. Probably the ultimatums but whatevs.
Four a more times sounds like a something that will switch to a permanent static effect when that happens or a alt win
10 or less well does confirm a vast majorly of creatures will be 7 power or higher but that’s that effect clearly that smells slaughter the strong or protean hulk esque effect
If the (zero is even) reminder text is into play we got to pray to the lord it’s not the other version of void winnower which is can’t cast odd (“you can’t even” is the first one the other would be“odds are against you”) If it happens that’s it the commander rules committee will ban one or the other
Eight forshadow counters there’s no way it’s not one of the following effects
“You win the game”
“Extra turn(s)”
“Cast for free/put into play”
“Draw X cards”
“Search/Arrange 8 cards in any order on top of your library in any order”
The cycle
It’s either the wedge ultimatums or a land cycle everyone wanted or one land to be turned into a cycle (via krosan verge)
I do have some predictions on the creatures
The dinosaur turtle it’s probably a legend based on gamera
The “demon kraken” it’s either dimir or grixis and hopefully this will be the REAL Cthulhu based legendary (one that isn’t a eldrazi)
The squirrel this speculation is hope but that it’s a legendary squirrel and one of the kaijus
I don’t think Kiora will be here since she returned to Zendikar after WAR. I anticipate we will see her in Zendikar then, which would be cool. I hope we get DFC in Zendikar with Kiora origin stories or something.
I welcome krakens but I hope they’re ones I find interesting and can use in sea creatures edh. I wish we’d get a kraken egg.
Yea

Is that Vivien?
WHOA!
look at the size of that thing a bear/badger/Wolverine with a ankolosaurus body
This set is gonna be juicy for animar, soul of elements

Secondly might be battlecruiser themed set (which means you start slow but then behemoths/eldrazi/big creatures come in
I think we got the building monster mechanic name “mutate”
So maybe
Mutate - when this creature dies put a (ability) counter on target creature
So my recycla-bird theory might have Ben rigt

There will be a mono-white card that lets you repeatedly ramp Plains from your library onto the battlefield.
Rules text - "You and planeswalkers you control gain protection from that player."
Magic's fourth Trilobite (ignoring changelings)
Ability on an permanent that begins: "You may pay 0 rather than..."
There are 41 instances of the word "counter" or "counters" among text boxes (including reminder text)
Some creature types - "Goat Hydra", "Cat Nightmare", and "Badger Dinosaur"
A legendary creature in which the first five letters spell "Gavin"
I think these hints just proved the “symbolic swarm” deck list is fake
And the badger dinosaur ok now I see it that behemoth in the key art is probably the badger dinosaur look at giant badger the resemblance is uncanning
