till January 15th silver border cards are legal (except for a few)
its a bit obvious whats going on here besides for the celebration of unstaple this is a test pilot run of silver border cards in command and see if it breaks it too much
its somewhat likely they will end up saying "we will make silver border legal for good but were banning several cards that are just too busted or not fun and just let the one that seem black borderable stay legal."
if this is what happens what do you think will stay legal?
(reminder don't get your hopes up this happens.)
they should just promote un-commander and not ruin regular commander. i have no interest in playing with silver bordered cards.
I agree.
Silver border is generally a different feel than "regular" Magic. This is along the same vein as playing something like 93/94 Magic or block Magic. They definitely feel like different games even though... well, they're the same game.
Don't get me wrong I love playing Silver border. I also absolutely love Spaceballs but I also love Star Wars without Jar Jar too. There's a distinction between the two.
