That's because we are speculating on a possible Egypt set and Ravnica 3.0. Obviously we still have ideas and theories of what it could be. We are aware it is unlikely, but it is just plausible enough to be true. So we discuss, which is the point of this forum: discussing baseless speculation.
Something that just occurred to me: If Ravnica 3 is in fact going to be sharing a Standard with SOI, there's a decent chance the Shocklands will be reprinted and thus be able to be played alongside the Shadowlands, which will play faster than the current Battleland/Shadowland arrangement as an early Shockland is better than an early Battleland.
I do wonder, though, what kinds of lands the supposed Egypt block would have that might somehow play well with either BFZ or SOI's lands? You don't suppose that block would have discard lands in it, do you? You know, lands that enter tapped unless you discard a card as they enter the battlefield? Or perhaps you're forced to sacrifice them unless you discard a card? That would play well with both Delirium and Madness.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Ennemy battlelands are always doable and fine I guess.
A special Egyptian design could be temples reprints.
A Krosan Verge-cycle with battlelands and possibly shocklands would be incredible. It enables delirium and 4-to-5 color midrange/Control decks but in a way that is not as fast as classic fetchlands.
Battlelands make less sense in a post-KTK format as tricolor decks aren't pushed as much. If enemy Shadowlands debut in EMN, though, then there's a little extra incentive.
Verges would be an interesting addition to both BFZ's Battlelands and Ravnica 3's potential Shocks. But I wonder: What are the odds of seeing the old Flood Plain cycle reprinted? Or maybe we'll see a mixture of the two that eschews the mana ability in exchange for a cheaper activation and/or putting the lands onto the battlefield untapped?

I suppose the only reason that it hasn't been moved is that the mods may know that this isn't truly speculation.
In a sensible world, sure. More likely, some mod wants it to be true enough to let this sit here.
Agreed. Moved to Baseless Speculation.
