We might even see more planeswalkers at all rarities except common if it's an epic battle the way it's being portrayed.
Given that we will have creatures joining from across the multiverse , we might even get non-creature planeswalkers with loyalty abilities (like that one test card from the mystery boosters) as it’s now more reasonable to “call in a favor” from nonplaneswalker creatures.
Maybe they’ll make a new supplemental card type like “Planar” to flavorfully denote permanents coming from other planes and to mechanically note who gets loyalty abilities… which could explain why Braids and that new red polymorph effect list out current permanent types rather than saying “permanent” or “for each permanent card type”.
Of course that’s tinfoil hat territory, though it’s an interesting thought.
