I know, it seems clickbaity. But hear me out. I thought about this last night.
What if, for MTG's 30th anniversary, WOTC makes it so that for the 2022/2023 release year, the standard-legal sets are in retro frames. This would be a great way to honour Magic's initial aesthetic foundation.
Or at least for The Brothers' War.
With the way people were clamouring for the retro frames in Modern Horizons II, I think that was a good benchmark to test it out further.
Thoughts?
