If they stick to their OG then I'll say a Commander paradise with more legendary permanents. To what degree I'm not sure though probably not as saturated.
WISHFUL THINKING but I would LOVE to see Grandeur make it into a standard set. I mean it could...

HR Analyst. Gamer. Activist | Fearless, and forthright | Aggro-control is a mindset. Elspeth and Jhoira rock my world.
I expect either a red artifact (that triggers once per round) or a red spell that references kiki-jiki
I expect that moon folk will not all be based around bouncing lands, though it will appear on at least one.
I expect 1 black ogre rare that rewards playing demons and 1-2 drawback cards for limited calling back to the old ogre-demon link.
I expect a legendary-related mechanic (perhaps the return of historic if it is not being reserved for the last two sets of the year).
I expect a cycle of rare and uncommon legends for each color and 2-color combo (if not more).
I expect Jin-Gitaxias, reality hacker (that one name came with a bunch of other leaks that turned out to be legit and this seems like the right place).
Well when you look at the dates of those leaks and when the sets actually came out I'd paint that as reliable in the interim. Reality Hacker sounds cool.

The only thing that I’m cautious of is that the screenshot with that card name is in its own screenshot. Someone could have added a single screenshot from an alternate source as a troll, though the “payoff” would be rather small.

I'm expecting a card treatment that features pixelized art, or something with a neon matrix vibe.
I would be surprised is we didnt see:
Multicolor ninja commander
Multicolor Samurai commander
A Proper brothers yamazaki for commander
"Legendary matters" payoff card
A new cycle of zubera
a 'Fixed' umezawa's jitte

So… Matrix Resurrections releases late December and this set releases mid-January. What do you think the odds are of getting a UB product or cosmetic treatment?
Spirits get a bit of a shoutout, likely somewhere in GW or WB, but they aren't a major focus (and no Spiritcraft)
i agree with most the stuff on the list
but i will give probably a minor correction for this one
spiritcraft won't happen only because of the "Arcane" part of that mechanic and arcanes is almost a 10 on the storm scale.
Where I'm going with this is they may just make new keyword thats exactly the same thing but remoes the arcane part (example is Hexproof to shroud, wording is the same but difference is hexproof you can target it of owned shroud you can't)
I expect to see the return of shrines, either reprinted or updated versions.
Ninja Tribal is a given but I simultaneously hope they continue with using ninjutsu but also find ways to grow the tribe.
Samurais with a new mechanic.
Fox and Rat Tribal cards.
Biggest thing I am hoping for is that just like with Midnight Hunt and Crimson Vow we get full art lands with a unique style. Either as Cyberpunk cityscapes or something similar to the Theros Beyond Death lands but as circuitry motifs.

I REALLY want a new take on Splice.
that mechanic was pretty awesome, original, poweful.... but so parasitic it was stupid.
I mean, there were just a handful of Arcane spells which made the mechanic mostly just irrelevant.
make it "Splice into Instant", "Splice into Sorcery", "Splice into creature" whatever and I'll be a happy man forever.
The planeswalkers will be Keito, Tamiyo, and Ajani. I'm not sure on the third slot, but he seems like the most likely, given his connection to Tamiyo's story circle and his lack of appearance in premiere sets since Aether Revolt (and War of the Spark). My second choice would be Narset (for the first of those reasons), but I'm not sure. I also suspect that they might call back to the flip cards from original Kamigawa with some TDFCs.
The final main VOW story piece on the mothership had Teferi pointedly mentioning Phyrexians (I assume Kaya described her encounter with Vorinclex to him, but that happened "off camera"). So I do think we are getting another one. And if the original praetors and the Kaldheim Vorinclex are precedent, it will be something that either doubles or provides a large benefit for you and either halves or provides a mirror-disadvantage for opponents. I hope it isn't something that is completely miserable to play against, but that seems to be the goal for most of the Praetors.
Even though original Kamigawa was divisive at best, I'm sure they are going to try to keep or revamp some of the mechanics and themes from it. Legendary-matters is a big one, but since Dominaria is also getting a set in 2022 I'm not sure. Maybe Kamigawa will stick to just legendary creatures/artifacts while Dominaria United goes with historic which is a little broader and less focused.
I think the big question is how large of a role spirits will play. On the one hand, spirits v. humans was like the main thing of Kamigawa. On the other hand, Kamigawa was unpopular and this set seems set in a distant future with a new vibe that is less spirit-friendly. I still think they will have a role to play however, maybe unlocking or bringing back spirits will be key to saving the plane or defeating a big bad.
This has already been said above, but a less-parasitic take on splice would be cool and Modern Horizons already showed this was possible with Splicer's Skill. Splicing doesn't feel particularly "classic Kamigawa" to me, but the name/concept does have a cyber/futuristic vibe which could fit very will in this world. Plus, it sound like something Phyrexians like to do if Gin turns out to be checking things out here.

While the Original Kamigawa wasn't anywhere near perfect in gameplay the real coup d'état was it's chronological placement right after the first Mirridon Block. Simply put it got steamrolled by its over powered predecessor and WOTC trying to dial creep back too much, then Ravnica rolled in and pushed Mirridon out but the damage was done and thus also overshadowed it. Kamigawa simply could not compete with Affinity, Dredge, and Skullclamp decks.
Despite that though it was popular enough to warrant constant requests for a revisit for almost two decades due to how strong the flavor of the setting was.
I guess what I am saying is that despite all that went wrong within and around it it was the flavor of Kamigawa that gave it a place in the hearts of the player base and I think that if WOTC wants it to succeed this time they need to keep that flavor.

uh that just means he can't tell what day he said by the end of the year so it’s a surprise of when It can be any day of December but if he’s wrong about really previews before the end of the year that’s his bad.
besides they given us Christmas Eve/day previews before.
I was thinking about this today, and with all the spirits in Midnight Hunt/Crimson Vow I would expect there to be some spirit emphasis or support in Neon Dynasty. I mean it was a huge focal point in the original Kamigawa block. Surely there'll be references to spirits in the "modern" age of the plane.

honestly my conspiracy theory with Jon gitaxias if here
the Reality hacker part by hack I mean hack into time and bring past to present (in other words bring angry kami from past into the present) and that will be his distraction find what he’s looking for.
More wishful thinking than anything, but here's what is my take of Gitaxian that has "Reality Hacker" as a Title:
Jin Gitaxias, Reality Hacker 4UUUU
Hexproof
Opponents play with their hands and top of library revealed
During your turn, opponents can't cast spells and you may play cards from any zone of any player (you may play cards from any hand, any graveyard, any card in exile and from the top of any library)
During your opponents turns, they can’t cast spells from anywhere other than their hands.
4/4
Let a man dream.
Great dream but they would never in a million years let you cast cards jin gitaxias didn't exile
mistake number two you missing “If a card you cast from a opponent would be put into a graveyard from anywhere , exile that card instead”

No Tamiyo but you better believe Kaya will show up somehow.

sisters of flesh and spirit and Hidetsugu melded with All-consuming oni of chaos will be getting a card
mechanic based on hacking
maybe the return of energy counters
Fractal creatures will make a appearance (hint is the new walkers pet fox since it highly resemables a fractal)
the iconic spirit dragons will be back as a cycle again but with different death triggers this time
the Second phyrexian praetor (from rumor)
the Emperor might be Sakashima or it will be tezzert or jin gitaxia pulling a bolas like he did on amonkhet
shrines and Ninja tribal and samurai tribal and spirit tribal is almost guaranteed
The commander decks will be tribal
spirit tribal we will get new spirit cards from neon dynasty and old kamigawa in the commander deck (if one is a deck ofcoarse)
The special frame will be tron or pixel like
And ofcoarse we get one very powerful card from the original block as a reprint (it will not be the top nor Umezawa's Jitte.)
