The dinosaur in the middle has a jet fighter shooting at it... No way this is real.
Point outs
1 Hasbro does infact got the thumbs up from Toho to use the monster characters
2 king Caesar (whatever the creature actually name in the set) the text matches one of Maro’s teasers in Ikoria
3 the dinosaur with cycling Gavin’s teaser was 8-mechanics coming back
4 they said they are doing the box topper like never seen before this fits big time
5 as leslak pointed out the artist on each of the cards match their style and are proxy’s by wizards
6 two are not legendary but on further inspection the6 are uncommon and are probabl6 regular creatures in the sets
7 and ofcoarse you can’t find those images anyway
By the way there are multiple Godzilla’s to choose from they probably have the best one for a mythic alt art and alt name (if real anyway)
I can do lists too!
1) At current, the information presented is that Hasbro owns a license to produce and market Monopoly and Jenga themed games using material associated with the Toho properties of 'Godzilla'. A license to make card games is held by Jasco Games. The license for video games is between multiple studios. If you're going to give out information as facts, please make sure to list the facts.
2) As already established, it doesn't match the text Maro gave. It's based 'on' the text Maro gave, the same way as the fake Commander deck list was. Similarity is not 'the same' and is not 'matching'.
3) See previously: "Prowess, Dredge and Banding are also mechanics. The virtue of them being mechanics doesn't mean they are returning. Gavin saying eight are returning doesn't mean Cycling is definitely one of them."
4) See previously: "They've also claimed many other things are unlike anything they've ever done in Magic. They said the same about Oko's release, WOTS increased PW number, Time Spiral's 'planeshifted' cards, the new release schedule, the release of C20 in conjunction with Ikoria. They've even said it about Bolas' first PW card. It's not something to get excited about if you've heard it so many times."
5) As a cursory Google search revealed, all of those artists have worked on franchises outside of Magic before. Claiming it's 'their style' is irrelevant. It's whom commissioned the work that's important. (Fakes have credited real artists before, while pulling their work from non WOTC affiliated sources).
6) WOTC's own design and promotion rules prevent them releasing uncommon cards as Boxtoppers (see their documents on product design). Also, there being four different boxtoppers is unlikely, it actually lowers sales. See: Yu-Gi-Oh, UFS/UniVersus and MLP (also owned by Wizards). (As of last known iteration).
7) The arts are all available on Google, if you actually look. Saying 'you can't', when you've yourself not tried, is a fallacy.
Ilovesaporlings pretty much explained it for me this is pretty close to what I would have said
Cycling yes not necessary lock but he said 8 mechanics this is just 1 out of 8
But your last two are the worst explanations
kitchen finks was one of the box toppers in ultimate master and that’s a uncommon in the set uncommons are eliable for box toppers slots plus like ilovesaporlings said 40 toppers are in it should be a similar number
And your artist claim and picture can be found until you can prove it with links iM gonna claim you don’t want these to be real
But I’m not fulling anticipating these being real but I’m having trouble proving these fake besides they need permission from toho and that probably happened during the monopoly and janga thing you all keep forgetting sets ar worked on several months in advanced
Although nobody commented on that because most of us are too busy being proud of our arrogance, I just wanted to remind you that drawing a card and giving trample to a creature for 1G seems pretty sweet.
You forgot uncounterable. My foiled out Modern Living End deck is literally dripping with anticipation if he's 8/8 or larger.
It will probably be, since it costs 9

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.

I can't wait until the official confirmation on thursaday. I wonder how many smartass comments will be in that thread

From that point on, Human tribal was on the table as something designers could use as they saw fit. There were a few cards here and there, mostly using Human tribal to add a bit of flavor. The next big push of Human tribal came when we returned to the gothic horror plane in Shadows over Innistrad and Eldritch Moon, again, primarily focused in green and white.
Human's next big appearance mechanically was in Throne of Eldraine, but mostly for the use of "non-Human." We'd tried batching a bunch of creature types to be the faerie folk of the world, but we quickly realized that they were mostly defined by being everything but Humans, so for the first time, we tried a negative tribal theme where you were rewarded for not being something—in this case, Human. Humans have had a lot of support over the years (and even have some powerful tribal decks in larger formats), so we figured it was okay to punish them for a set.
Which brings us to Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths. I can't go into detail just yet about what role the Humans play in the set, but much like the Innistrad blocks, the source material has a lot of Humans in it. In fact, in just about every monster movie you've ever seen, Humans are there playing a big role. Ikoria will be no different.
What role did humans have in are monster/Godzilla movies
They are gonna either go “RUN RUN FOR LIVES AAAAAAAA!!!” Or military ones will actually fight back at them I expect both roles to play on ikoria

The original japanese movies actually center on the humans. For example, the original Godzilla (from the 1954 movie) awakened from the atomic weapon testing, and it tells a story about the unprecedented consequences of such experiments. A more modern take on the genre, Shin Godzilla (the 2016 movie) is all about the way japanese society functions and bureoucracy. It's almost like the early movies from any Godzilla reboot have the monster itself being a secondary part of the plot, while the human action is the main dish.
The american movies are just bad.

My favorite thing about MTG Salvation is the "Ignore User" feature.
Whether this is true or not, I really hope it's not. We need less BaB promos that are playable, not more, not to mention the themeing is awful for MTG IMO.

Box toppers aren't BaB promos, but a thing on their own. It's meant to be just a bonus for buying a box on WPN stores. But how can the way themes in Magic are handled be awful if the very people who do that picked a Monster world this time around?

If these are just alternate art/name promos of cards in the set, it doesn't matter if they're staple cards. You don't have to have 4 Godzilla art cards to go play the Grand Prix. It's just a way to add a little extra fun to the game.
The Sultai card seems like a great control finisher. I'm not sure what Mutate does, but I would imagine that it is the ability that gives your creatures the keyword counters as previously mentioned. If that's the case, you can bring this guy back mutated from your graveyard again and again? Seems legit.

If I had to speculate, Mutate would be just an activated ability that does whatever is written on the card, but there would be cards that mattered how many times creatures mutated, but that's my opinion and guess.

On this note while I do think this set will heavily feature more kaiju inspiration I'm excepting western monster movies as well (not necessary western kaiju movies, but the monster/horror movies western audiences know).

"You can tell how dumb someone is by how they use Mary Sue"
I think it's pretty clear mutate uses some kind of counter so you can track how many times the creature has mutated. It's probably also mutate only as a sorcery as well.

I thought of something on these same lines, like mutate only does what is written on the card, but the game cares with how many times you mutated and stuff like that. It's a generic activated ability with implications.

so, if real, these are official "cosplay" versions of existing cards? I mean, that's cool. I've built edh decks with characters in mind (Urabrask makes everyone move so fast that your opponents look slow = The Flash themed deck) and this is just an official version of that. Why not ?

Kinda odd moving this thread to speculation. Leaks were always on Rumor mill main page, even if not confirmed or fake(when confirmed fake the thread would be closed).
From MTG twitter acc new foot prints of kaijus (one at the beach and the other on the middle of the streets of some european town) i keep with the wishfull thinking of those being real. The cards have arts that fit the credited artist style, they are all mtg artists that worked with wotc in the last 2 years. The cards fits the gimmick and giant premise of the announced ikoria box toppers.

The arguments being used by the mod who publicly said they're shutting down the threads are, indeed, spot-on. Brazilian stores had to postpone, if my mind is not betraying me, the Guilds of Ravnica prerelease events because the packs were held by the customs, and that wasn't the first time it happened in this country. Recently, we had a container directed to our distributor released by the customs after being locked over a decade, which made stores get booster boxes and theme decks from Future Sight. Plus, it's indeed a couple days before April Fools, so everything posted then is sure to be misleading, one way or the other.
But I'm not sure r/magictcg is even interested in spoilers and such, because the feeling I get there is that all people do is showing-off and farm social media affirmation. It's been a while the heavy discussions towards leaks, fakes and such; and even during spoiler season, they're more interested on puns rather than any meaning of card discussion. The leak discussion usually happens in secondary MtG subreddits, such as r/mtgfinance - who probably had the largest discussion towards the Symbiotic Swarm deck leaks - and even so they happen under the warnings from their moderation team, specially because those leaks and fakes seldom reflect on anything in the market.
