It's kinda like making predictions based on zodiac sign articles, or something like that. And when I'm talking of that, all I can remember is that article ( here: https://www.zodiacsigns-horoscope.com/compatibility/gemini-gemini/ ) about relationships between people who has the same zodiac signs like Gemini and Gemini. There are a lot of specific predictions you can read there.
Ashiok is now researching/going to New Phyrexia from learning about them on theros
I don’t have the full details but I heard from someone in the throne of eldraine book on the magic mirror part it wasn’t just their dad they found in it a few planes and New Phyrexia was one of them and it had elesh norn on the throne as “mother of machines” and said Rowan and will are going and garruk as well since he swarm to protect them bring them back
There’s just way way way to many pieces falling into place to not get a New Phyrexia revist

Ohh so that's how it's tying together. So then I wondered how the story would unfold now given that the Eldraine plot was part of a larger role and wehre Theros fit in to it. I wonder how Zendikar III will contribute.
That said we can probably expect a Phyrexian-themed set in the start of 2021 either Q1 or Q2.

So, are there any mechanical nods and hints in Core21 that might indicate where we are heading next?
One factor that makes any speculation of this kind particularly difficult is that many of the set's themes, mechanics, etc might exist not necessarily because the set itself (or those standard-legal sets that follow them) requires them, but rather for the purpose of contributing to Jumpstart.
Last horrah themes and mechanical nods also have to be accounted for.
I do think it's interesting that many of Lorwyn's tribes are present but then, again many of these are western fantasy staples.

As lunatic as it sounds kamigawa may actually be on the possibilities despite how I possible it was to go back (probably not 2021) but actually not so impossible anymore
M21 is like showing it in front of are faces
Azusa reprint
the return shrines and are from kamigawa since the flavor text is haiku poem form
they put 2 spirit tribal cards in heck one is even bounce a non-spirit to it's owners hand (spirit tribe was the biggest theme in kamigawa)
they focused on flying tribal again as well vast majority of spirits have flying
Barrin abilities on his card synergize's with ninjas and moonfolk
Kaervek's card is essentially a creature version of Night of Souls' Betrayal Discontinuity is a sticky better Time stop
Karn is going with Teferi and ajani
