Another possibility is Teyo's home. We might be going to "diamond storm" world sooner than we think. Maybe it's a world themed after gemstones? Perfect place for colored artifacts to appear in large numbers. Teyo could be from Diamond Dunes, then we can be introduced to the Marble Plains, Sapphire Sea, Onyx Swamp, Ruby Mountains, Emerald Forest...
Kasmina's home is also a possibility. Based on the name, I'm thinking some place with a Russian vibe.
The other plane in War could be a plane we have previously visited as well, there are several candidates that make sense: Kaladesh, Innistrad, Dominaria, Theros, Zendikar. Dominaria in particular stands out, especially if Jaya and/or Lily dies as both are from there. All we really know about the second plane in War is that it is *not* Amonkhet, and it is *not* the Fall set.
I am still holding out hope for a Norse based set after Ravnica, but the more I think about it, the more I am thinking that it might be a "Chinese" based set. But we've had a couple of Asia influenced sets in these last couple of years as well, with both Kaladesh and Tarkir. It's been a long while since we've had anything influenced by Africa though, and I really, really, really, want to visit Aminatou's home plane, because she is awesome incarnate.

It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).
I could see a China-themed world with a focus on balancing opposing colors ("if you're balanced in white and black", etc.), Technique instants and sorceries representing martial arts, Monk tribal, and animal tribes inspired by the Chinese Zodiac as well as martial arts, including Birds, Boars, Cats, Insects, Minotaurs, Monkeys, Naga, Rabbits, Rats, and Turtles. Not to mention panda Bears of course. Kung Fu Pandas? There could also be a cycle of mythic rare creatures based on the Four Beasts: The White Tiger, the Azure Dragon, the Black Serpent (one half of the Black Tortoise), the Vermillion Firebird, and the Jade Tortoise (the other half of the Black Tortoise).
The whole plane's philosophy is centered around Magic versions of Taoism and the Wu Xing, with the Five Colors replacing the Five Elements, and an emphasis on opposing colors in a yin-and-yang relationship. This would be underscored not only with the balance mechanic but also a cycle of off-color creatures and a cycle of split cards with fuse, representing complimentary concepts:
W Kindness // Ambition B U Focus // Action R B Wealth // Health G R Heart // SoulW G Body // Mind U
I would suggest Mentor as a returning mechanic to capture that whole "master and student" trope, but we just got it in GRN, so it'd be unlikely to return so soon.

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
Shouldn't wotc have revealed the fall set by now according to their prior schedules ? I mean it was always before june, right ?
If fall is snow themed it makes sense to not reveal before the first wave of modern horizons, cause people will look to open the snow lands. After like 30 days of its realease and after core 20 releases, they can reveal it to give a new hype in modern horizons (people looking for the snow interation cards). And theoricaly it would not afect core 20 because in theory it is the corset that will see play in 2020, in theory because core 19 is rotating out in mid 2019 with almost less than a year of standard play.

Core sets always rotate out with the fall release, leaving a 3 month span where both core sets are legal.
As for the snow, I doubt that it has anything to do specifically with snow and more to do with wanting to give people the time with War and MH1. I expect an announcement will be sometime this week or next.
Should we assume the next few sets will focus on Ral, Vraska, and Kaya hunting Tezzeret, Dovin, and Liliana, respectively? Then ol' Garruk decides to step in and join the hunting fun.
This could be a good chance for one or more sets to take place on multiple planes with a shared theme. For example, Ral and Vraska's hunt for Tezzeret and Dovin could take them to Esper, New Phyrexia, and Kaladesh, while Kaya might follow Liliana to Innistrad, Theros (where she might try to rescue Gideon from Erebos' Underworld), and Amonkhet (where she might look for something with which to bargain for Gideon's life). I could also see Koth, Samut, Ajani, Saheeli, and Karn getting involved, if the hunt involves their home worlds.

So here is the thing. We are getting a sequel to the War of the Spark novel. Its mentioned Liliana, Jace, Ral, Vraska, Kaya, Teyo and Rat will be featured characters (maybe more) and the novel is not related to Core Set 2020 or the Fall set and that feels like its gonna deal with the Ral/Vraska/Kaya hunting Tezzeret/Dovin/Liliana. Mean while at some point after War Chandra is off with her comic adventures with Ajani, Tibalt and soon Jace on Alara is happening some point.
So I think the fall set will not have the gatewatch and will be a set up/semi-side story for the new story arc. I also think we might see some of the walkers we didn't see in War. We had 15 walkers not show up in War;
Windgrace, Freyalsie, Xenagos, Venser, Elspeth are dead.
Deck and Yanling where in the story but didn't get cards. Dack was added in later on and originally was cut since Saheeli was the easier card to design for but Yanling is said to have future plans/reasons for her (since Kasmina could have been her).
Daretti was cut since they had too many walkers already in mono-red, I'm guessing Rowan was in the same place although Maro said they had reason/plans for Will and I'm guessing that included Rowan.
Koth is on New Phyrexia still fighting and it hasn't been said officially why Estrid and Aminatou got cut.
So that leaves Garruk (as well as the said above Kenrith and Yanling) as being cut for having future plans so I think we might see them some in the next year or two. I personally think its gonna be Garruk on viking world since viking world is something that people been wanting and Garruk seems right on viking world in the same way Elspeth felt right on Theros.
Going a bit more baseless but a planeswalker calendar was released this year and it featured Rowan and Will. I found this kinda odd since the other walkers for it where the 8 gatewatch members, Vraska, Tezzertet, Bolas, Garruk and the twins. 12 major characters and very new character two who got no lore (tho the Calendar gives them a little bio) seems odd unless maybe the twins might be feature characters this year as well.

Dack is dead, he died in WAR even though he didn't get a card. One of three named walkers who died. Estrid and Aminatou got created after they started work on WAR and were never in the files to begin with, so they were not "Cut". They needed two new planeswalkers for the Commander decks, so they created them. The Twins were created for Battlebond, and it makes sense they would feature them in the calendar as they were the breakout characters of the set, which was still available at the calendars release. It is possible they will show up, but there is no guarantee. We know they have plans for some of the walkers that didn't show up in WAR, because they have told us so much, but plans means up to seven sets into the future, possibly more.

I know Dack died, I was listing the reasons why certain walkers didn't get a card in War. Maro said Dack was considered for being one of the UR walkers in war but for they went for Ral and Saheeli before realized he was gonna be a man character. ALL the know walkers where up for slots when they where making the set and 15 of them got cut, with my interest being that certain walkers where slotted for future plans, mostly for Will and Yanling since they had to make a new walker/pull a future character in Kasmina for blue when those two could have possible filled in it.
Teyo was designed to fill an uncommon mono-white planeswalker slot. We had trouble finding a character to fill it.... (Aminatou and Estrid were three-color cards with white being one of the colors, but neither made much sense to be here, and that's not even getting into the timeline of when they lived.) That meant we needed to make a brand-new character.
While he could misremembering I looks Aminatou and Estrid where knows to wizards at the time.
The Calendar is a stretch BUT there are much more popular/markable characters then the twins that they could have use. ( Also Battlebond was a June 2018 release and the calendar is for this so they didn't really cross market much being 6 months apart.)

I actually liked Gideon cause at least turning into a Creature is unique as only he and Sarkhan really do that.
whereas as Teyo seems more generic and his section of the color pie is crowded with more popular characters yeah he might be default mono white but plenty of characters share that color.

Not really right now its just Teyo and Wanderer (sometimes Ajani) until Elspeth is brought back for mono-white walkers. White, black and green could each use another mono-colored walker IMO.

They didn't have space for three color characters, as such the two were not even in the running to be in the set. Indeed, it is a miracle that Tamiyo made an appearance, but that was likely because an argument could be made for her being only two colors (which is what they did). As for Dack lacking a card, the issue had more to do with the people who write/decide the story and the people making the set not communicating properly. WotC have had that issue for decades. It's the same reason that Ambassador Laquatus is the sole merfolk in Odyssey block. As for why other known planeswalkers didn't make an appearance, Garruk was for obvious reasons, Windgrace is, well, "one with the land". Koth is still stuck on New Phyrexia. Xenagos and Elspeth are both dead, and so on. The only planeswalker with a card that could have shown up that didn't was Mu Yanling, and they've told us that they have a good reason for that. And I have no reason to doubt them.
Besides, at least two of the new walkers introduced in the set are pretty awesome: Wanderer and Kasmina. I don't know enough about Teyo to form an opinion about him yet. But Wanderer is the epitome of Mysterious Hero, while Kasmina appears to be as snarky as Jaya.

That is another thing I found interesting is that Kasmina is apparently a character they had for a future storyline and they figured War could a be preview for her. Also it seems Kasmina knew about the War and came to Ravnica willing and ready to fight.
Wanderer is fun, I wanna know about whats up with her spark.

Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
So I think the fall set will not have the gatewatch and will be a set up/semi-side story for the new story arc. I also think we might see some of the walkers we didn't see in War. We had 15 walkers not show up in War;

Paraphrased from Maro;

While he could misremembering I looks Aminatou and Estrid where knows to wizards at the time.
The Calendar is a stretch BUT there are much more popular/markable characters then the twins that they could have use. ( Also Battlebond was a June 2018 release and the calendar is for this so they didn't really cross market much being 6 months apart.)

whereas as Teyo seems more generic and his section of the color pie is crowded with more popular characters yeah he might be default mono white but plenty of characters share that color.
