i believe the decks will be the following:
Naya
Dimir
Abzan
Temur
and no tribal theme as the main focus. If you look during the last 2 years, every colors each year, gets depicted at least twice. In 17 white red and black 3 times and in 18 blue 3. green is the only one that hasn't. i expect to see gerrand( and maybe even tacenda pre spark)in the first deck and gix and volrath in the second
Gix and/or volrath I definately agree with of popping up in one of these
I got a bonus prediction I mentioned this too many times for some people already but not I think naya is one of the decks I think it’s gonna be “creatures being dealt damage matters” is the theme and new enrage dinosaurs for this one
But will we see two wedge colors in this since we got two in core 2020?
I was gonna suggest earlier today that the decks could have a counters theme, with experience counters returning on the face cards. However, instead of comitting to a single type of counter, each deck uses different kinds of counters in a manner consistent with the deck's strategy. Each deck is free to run +1/+1 counters, -1/-1 counters, charge counters, lore counters, time counters, storage counters, etc. For example, a RGW deck might have a theme of heroism, and feature such cards as Triumph of Gerrard, Hero of Leina Tower, and Assemble the Legion.

They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

There's a variety of approaches you could take, but at least one of the three commanders ought to be a Phyrexian, ideally with infect and proliferate interaction. Ah, I forgot to add The Mimeoplasm to that decklist!

It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).
A 5-color Sliver tribal deck would be something I'd definitely buy. Slivers are such a unique, top-down tribe unlike any other, so it almost is already outside of the realm of traditional "tribal" themes. The entire set does not have to be tribal. In fact, the diversity might be awesome. I'd love a diverse set of decks like the list below (not literally - just an example of diversity).
5-color Sliver Tribal
URG Temur ETB or Power matters aggro
BR Phyrexian "Hell on Earth" Group Slug
Colorless Matters (protection from colored, or benefits from opposing permanents being colored, etc.)
What with the end of the Bolas storyline, there is likely to be little reason to revisit certain places meaning it is likely to see legendary creatures from these planes (Amonkhet, Kamigawa, etc.).
I could possibly see a deck that included a two- or three-color version of "Hazoret, the God-Survivor," possibly in Boros / Naya colors?
Not sure what they would do with it, but she didn't get a card in WAR, and with the story a return is unlikely but... The possibility to offer a vignette into current life on Amonkhet through a Commander product seems like an opportunity they might take.

That is an interesting theory. They could also make tri colour legends out of the Scarab and Locus gods too. They are still alive and just warped by Bolas magic unlike the fully dead God-Eternals. Maybe they shift back now that Bolas magic is gone?
I would love wacky themed decks. I have a couple I made that are my favourite to play. I have one that causes tons of random effects every turn, and I have a second that forces players to constantly make choices with will of council cards, tons of triggered abilities on upkeeps that bounce or sac something of players choice, or draw and discard triggers on draw steps, etc.
I know it's not necessarily the type of deck that wins games, but I love when it's just fun randomness in Commander.

I wouldn't say no to a fix version of Iona. Would like to keep the character in my decks. I assume I have to wait at least one year for that to happen, though.
Better mana bases are always welcome. They have to deliver in the reprint sector after the dilemma last year. More mono color support especially for red and white is high on my list, too.

I'm curious on what a fixed version of Iona would look like.
Something like: permanents you control have protection from [chosen color]?
She would be a little redundant with Avacyn and Sephara, where Sephara can be seen as a fixed version of OG Avacyn.
Or would you go with the OG Linvala into New Linvala style? (Second card hardly has anything to do mechanically with the first one).
I think they will follow the path taken in M20, so Elementals, Spirits, Pirates/Rogues and - I don't know - Knights? They did such thing last time if I'm not mistaken.

I don't think that Indestructible and protection from color is the same.
Choose a color.
You and Permanents you control have protection from color.
It is still hate against a specific color but at least they can cast stuff, right? It protects of targeting -X/-X, Auras and exile effects and it would make your creature unblockable. In addition it would protect from burn and most sacrifice/discard effects (Target player). I wouldn't take the route of taxing (Spells of the chosen color cost X more to cast) because I think that it would be basically the situation with old Iona. Because the game plan would be to stack this kind of effects (God-Pharaoh's Statue). Or if protection would be to good than Hexproof from color.
Edit: I would prefer it if they keep the effect similar. I don't like what they have done with Linvala or Aurelia because there are too different. There is no recognition in my opinion. Lazav for example is a returning creature done right.

The only two problems with that theory is
1 we did tribal in 2017 already but that doesn’t mean they won’t do it again early
2 if it was pirate/rouge it would be UBR and we also got that last year
And 5 of the knights are elementals
And I’m fairly certain RGW is one of the decks and also there’s one more tribe in m20 but barely got any focus and that’s dinosaurs most particually Marauding Raptor why give it a dinosaur tribal surgery ability since the ixalan dinosaurs are rotating out of standard very soon and also that da,age your own creatures abilitiy is something I’m speculating for those colors since Dino’s love that and several cards in the past have a persudo enrage ability
Oh I do agree with spirits though but needs to be yet another 5-color legend since O-Kagachi, Vengeful Kami is the best we got and also we are yelling at them because they did o-kagachi all wrong since he looks too weak of ability and power based off Final Judgment secondly no spirit tribal synergy/lord ability on him

Another tribe that got exactly 1 tribal card in M20 was angels with Bishop of Wings. In addition Lyra Dawnbringer and Resplendent Angel will rotate out of standard, too. I am not totally sold on spirit in M20. The only tribal card for spirits in M20 is Kykar, Wind's Fury and she seems like more a solo card because of the spellslinger aspect. M20 has definitely a 'flying'-Tribal, though.

Yea but based on color combos done recently so far in commander product naya has high chance of being a combo today and there’s no way they can resist making dinosaurs in commander product
And also
The only reason spirits is foreshadow is due to the vast number I saw in m20 but that could have Ben for kykar ability purposes
I wouldn't say that they can't resist because they clearly could. I think if they do tribal again, than dinosaurs have good chances to get more support. They could see the data with different eyes, though. It seems popular and is playable so lets print some support card here and there and let call it a day. Or and this more likely: We had success with dragon. Let repeat this with dinosaurs. But we don't really know if they will repeat tribal again.
More options for Naya would be nice. And even if the theme won't be tribal they could add some dinosaurs cards into the deck. They have done this in the past, too.
I hope we get some infinite combo support because that seems to be the way the format is trending, and new players simply can't compete against all these established combo decks.

@Faruel - I am enjoying brewing with Rienne, Angel of Rebirth and feel like the card is so flavorfully Naya. Creature-centric, regenerative, and aggressive. The spritial qualities and fighting passion of the Naya shard. Why would they print another Commander in this color scheme to establish a new Naya theme when this one was just released? Just owndering your thoughts.

You can forget about Iona, Shield of Emeria and paradox engine as reprints for good now they banned in commander as of today
But Painter's Servant joins the footsteps of protean hulk which is being unbanned
I honestly wouldn't expect any of those to be reprinted anyhow.
I am hoping they slip in more rare lands this time. I'm not asking for fetches, but maybe like some of the cheaper duals would work in here.

Better mana bases are always welcome. They have to deliver in the reprint sector after the dilemma last year. More mono color support especially for red and white is high on my list, too.
Everything will - [Primer] Sheoldred, Whispering One - Bow to Phyrexia!
Turboland - Azusa, Lost but Seeking - Control
Vampires' - Edgar Markov - Bites
Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow - Jumping Ninjas
Daretti, Scrap Savant - From Scrap to Treasure
Prime Speaker Zegana - Primal Surge permanentness
Krenko, Mob Boss - Angry Goblins CHARGE!
Traximundar - Flashback Forward
And https://edhrec.com/tribes
Dinosaurs only 1 year and now they are he 8th most built tribal deck and gishath
https://edhrec.com/commanders/rgw
Somehow climbed to the number 1 most built naya legendary as well
More options for Naya would be nice. And even if the theme won't be tribal they could add some dinosaurs cards into the deck. They have done this in the past, too.
