Whelp, might as well throw my hat back into the ring again. I'm thinking this time they can include more than just the one cycle. Maybe two new PWs per deck? One is the face card, and the other is a PW sub-commander.
Urza WUBRG
Since the decks are no longer color balanced, this is as good a time as any to make a black border Urza planeswalker. I'm thinking he could give you an emblem with the Fist of Suns ability to reflect how mighty he was. Although, with Jodah, Archmage Eternal claiming that coveted ability for himself, maybe not now.
Jeska R Kamahl's sister did hold a spark for a time. And she'd be a great candidate for a monored combat-focused PW, which we have yet to get.
"Young Sorin" RWB
Basically, Sorin shortly after he was turned into a vampire, during which time he could have had more red tendencies. Since he'd likely get an Angel-related ability of some kind, he'd be perfect for both Angel and Vampire tribal decks. Maybe he could tutor Angels or Vampires?
Serra W
I know many would want her to be the face card of a deck, but what if she got in as a secondary instead?
Jund Sarkhan BRG
A Jund Sarkhan almost happened in Dragons of Tarkir. Plus he did transition from RG to BR between Shards of Alara and Zendikar. Perhaps this card would reflect him during that time. Maybe call him Sarkhan Broken? Or Sarkhan, Slave of Bolas.
Glissa G
Glissa briefly held a spark during Mirrodin block, though given how obscured story was at the time you'd be forgiven for not knowing such. Question is, what should her card do? Of the eight I've suggested, this is the one I'm most skeptical about.
Crucius the Mad WUB
I recall Crucius being a popular request as well. Since he introduced etherium to Esper, being able to turn creatures into artifacts makes sense. He might even be able to revive or "embalm" creatures as artifacts, based on the lore of the Aether-Liches.
Azor WU
Like Serra, PW!Azor could be a secondary planeswalker in a deck with more colors. His focus on control would play well with Crucius' artifact theme.
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Commodore Guff should be the next silver border PW, on account of his fourth wall-breaking. One of his abilities could be a game-long errata skill that changes all instances in rules text of one color or type to another.
I could see Sifa getting a PW card. Honestly, she'd probably be better than Glissa for the Jund deck I suggested.
Got some WIP Decklists for speculating:
Urza WUBRG
Jeska R
New Gerrard W with WUBRG ability
Xantcha B
New Tahngarth R
New Eladamri G
New Karn C
New Mishra UBR
Opal Palace for Planeswalkers

Urza, Taysir, Serra, Commodore Guff, Bo Levar, Lord Windgrace, Tevesh Szat, Daria, Kristina of the Woods.
That is what I want out of this. Especially Taysir. Don't care if he is in the same deck as Urza as one of the 99 in the deck, hes a good guy and deserves recognition just like the other titans and oldwalkers should.
I think one could be old school walker Nicol Bolas for Commander. This would be his old self at his apex.
If they were to do Nicol Bolas, I'd like the other four of the original Elder Dragons as planeswalkers as well.
Taysir would always be my pick for the first black border five color planeswalker, as *he* was the first, and the best part is, they can technically bring him back. He's only died twice, he still has three lives left, and he still hasn't performed his "grand destiny" as foretold by the Anaba Spirit Crafters.
But then again, I do not like Urza. Despite what people think, he was a villain on par with old-school Phyrexia, and the entire Vs. Phyrexia thing was, and always will be, a question of Evil vs. Evil, and in the end Urza was willing to join Phyrexia (which is why Gerrard took his head). Of course, I am still pretty salty about Urza OUTRIGHT MURDERING TAYSIR BECAUSE THE LATTER CALLED HIM OUT ON HIS BULL***** VILLAINY.

Thanks for pointing out my spelling mistake. That's what I get for not looking it up first.
After looking it up, it seems that Lord Windgrace took Taysir's heart and put it inside his own chest. With what happened with Windgrace in Time Spiral block, it seems incredibly unlikely that a Taysir planeswalker would be a current, alive version.

Well, considering that oldwalkers could be completely vaporized and discorporated and still come back (such as good 'ol Nicol Bolas) I doubt that would stop Taysir, particularly since part of his back of tricks is apparently resurrection of himself (which is what happened in Homelands, although with some Minotaur help).
But I don't really care if it is a currently alive, or an pre-Invasion version of the character. It's a commander set after all.

It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).
Since we're likely to get at least one cycle of Commander PWs, I'm thinking they can choose PWs that have served in some manner of leadership position, like Urza, Serra, Crucius, Azor, and of course Nicol Bolas. I would love an additional cycle of PW subcommanders that fit in to the deck's main color identity.
Justice From Above WU Azor, Grand Arbiter (Flicker/bounce) W Serra, Mother of Light (Angels)
Plot For Power UBR Nicol Bolas, Draconic Overlord (Discard) BR Ob Nixilis the Infernal (Demons)
I would add Sorin to this list as well, with an ultimate that creates an Avacyn token, but we've already gotten three PW cards for him, while we have yet to get PW cards for Serra, Azor, or Crucius, not to mention we just got a Vampire deck last year. I know fans would love to see a Bolas Commander PW, though coming off the heels of C17's UBR Wizard deck hurts those chances a bit. Ob Nixilis has gotten a CPW before, but Maro feels his personality is BR more than monoblack, and he'd be the obvious candidate for a Demon subtheme in a Grixis control deck. A couple green CPWs for the fourth deck would be nice, to help balance the overall color weight.
Vigorous Valor RGW Samut, Who Leads The Way (Aggro) GW Ajani, Spiritual Leader (Lifegain matters)
Perhaps Samut, since she has become a leader of sorts for the refugees of Naktamun? Lord Windgrace also seems like a viable RGW option, especially for Cat fans who wanted a Naya option last year. Ajani is seen as a leader by a portion of Naya's leonin and nacatl, and if Windgrace is the face card, they could include a Cat subtheme, though like with Vampires, C17 having just done Cat Tribal makes it less likely.

If there were a five-color deck he'd be a shoo-in, but otherwise I don't think any other color combination would represent him.
Like Urza being the face but with Taysir as alternate planeswalker commander. Could even do some stuff that is approriate like theme it around Urza, the weatherlight, the titans, his brother Mishra, etc.
No reason they cannot have more then one in each deck but I don't think they pick Taysir as a 5 Color General Over Urza. Granted you could have Urza simply be Jeskai.
Bolas Actually Does Make Sense. Serra should definitely be here maybe they can give her a Bant and Monowhite Option.
I mean its 25 Years of Magic so I say Bolas, Urza and Serra should all be face commanders. The last one they can pick whatever they want for color balance. Maybe they toss Azor A Card.
I think Urza is doubtful, he's just got too much going on, that's why we got his head in Unstable.
Bolas has appeared recently, I don't think they'll rehash Bolas again so soon in an accessory product.
Serra is a very strong contender, she's heavily referenced in Dominaria's flavor, and is a long time beloved character who never received a card. Ifthey adhere strictly to her theme, she'd be monowhite Angels/Enchantments, but that might be too narrow to make a deck, I could see them expanding it to GW or Bant without much complaint.
I want Leshrac, after all these years he deserves a card as well.
Lord Windgrace seems like a good chance, there are several nods to him in Dominaria's flavor, though he wasn't as prominent as some others in the past, I largely remember him as one of the Nine Titans, though he was definitely more prominent than some of his cohorts, he was less so than the likes of Freyalise, Tevesh Szat, and Guff.
But, what I really hope to see is reprints of existing planeswalkers, especially the ones that have been getting harder to find over time. There are few opportunities to reprint planeswalkers, and they seem to only be interested in putting the really valuable ones into the masters sets to drive sales.

So a mostly blue/black deck focusing on murder, manipulation, and eugenics?

Re : Urza is "too complicated" and "Urza is too powerful"
Those are both not remotely true, Urza's only significant advantage he had over other planeswalkers was his eyes..which came into play twice..neither of which were him doing it. One was Radiant trying to put them together..the other was Gerrard putting them together. His planeswalker card doesn't need to have the eyes, doesn't need to have the titans.
All Urza needs to have for a card is a plus that makes an Ornithiopter, a Minus that searches up an artifact...and an Ult that blows up all the artifacts you have to kill everyone.

Yes, Urza was More BatGod then Superman. Give him enough prep time and a lab and he will find a way to beat anyone or anything. Randomly pick a fight with him and he can get beaten. A strong artifact commander with multiple colors based on Ral Zarek and various Tezzeret Cards should suffice.
Justice From Above WU Azor, Grand Arbiter (Flicker/bounce) W Serra, Mother of Light (Angels)
Plot For Power UBR Nicol Bolas, Draconic Overlord (Discard) BR Ob Nixilis the Infernal (Demons)
Vigorous Valor RGW Samut, Who Leads The Way (Aggro) GW Ajani, Spiritual Leader (Lifegain matters)
2 of those color combinations are straight out of C17, and I would straight-up murder anyone that decides to make Yet Another Goddamn WU Flicker Commander, so while I enjoy the nostalgia, I would have to say "no thanks".

That would be like making a Clark Kent action figure with only a microphone and a camera and trying to sell it to kids as a Superman toy.
Like it or not, Urza being a very powerful oldwalker is part of what people expect of the character. They wouldn't pull something like that, because they know people will be just as disappointed, probably even moreso than just making him overpowered.
Plus, what you describe could just easily be Tezzeret.
Yeah managing expectations is important. Granted WOTC doesn't have problems falling short Jaya Fan's waited forever for a Jaya Walker card and WOTC gave them a trash card. Urza just needs to be Tezz, Agent of Bolas + Dack Fayden.
Urza being a very powerful oldwalker is part of what people expect of the character.
Urza isn't superman, he wasn't even particularly powerful as an oldwalker, It is not WOTC's fault that people get dumb ideas about Urza's power level.
Plus, what you describe could just easily be Tezzeret.
You mean the Blue-centric artifact Planeswalker would have the same effects as the OTHER Blue-Centric Artifact Planeswalker? Urza wasn't a five color superman anymore than Freyalize, Ob Nix, Nahiri, Or Teferi were, infact he was less than the first two in some ways because Ob and Freya actually used their planeswalker powers. Urza was even after 3 thousand years of being a Planeswalker was an Artificier first and no amount of internet BS from the fandom will change that. Like it or not.
It should be fine print a powerful Artifact Walker and make sure to staple a back breaking ultimate on it. Put a CMC of at least 5 or so on it and you wont repeat Dack Fayden getting played in Vintage or whatever. Not that WOTC shows much concern what goes on in Vintage.
Granted I hope they bring the power this time. Last time only Teferi rose up to the top so they only need to make two powerhouses to beat that. Just don't make a crap walker like Jaya so they should definitely push Urza and Serra if they do it.

Ajani is seen as a leader by a portion of Naya's leonin and nacatl, and if Windgrace is the face card, they could include a Cat subtheme, though like with Vampires, C17 having just done Cat Tribal makes it less likely.

I expect any facewalker to be 2 or 3 colors with one max at 5 color. No 4 or 1 color facewalkers.

Urza isn't superman, he wasn't even particularly powerful as an oldwalker, It is not WOTC's fault that people get dumb ideas about Urza's power level.

Granted I hope they bring the power this time. Last time only Teferi rose up to the top so they only need to make two powerhouses to beat that. Just don't make a crap walker like Jaya so they should definitely push Urza and Serra if they do it.
