So: I have hheard Liliana will try to fight her third demon on dominaria, and Jace already met gideon there, so after Dominaria there is maybe one more set about the other Gatewatch members and then Ravnica 3 (Bolas invasion)

if tezzeret is shown on alara and vryn has been so heavily referenced i wouldn't be surprised if the theme was "homecoming" - showing each character going back to their home plane. it would be a good segue from dominaria (where lilliana goes home) to return to theros (where gideon goes home).
it would also be a good chance to take us back to nicol bolas home plane of kamigawa : - )
...I’m pretty sure he’s Dominarian but I could be wrong.

Wizards. listen. The Vorthos community will await the consequences of the Eldrazi Titans' deaths/sealing. We will keep the watch.

As far as I know, he was originally printed as a part of the Elder Dragon cycle and little is known about those. He could come from anywhere.
Well, I know for one thing, I read Melissa Del Toro wrote an article a while back and she mistakenly mentioned returning to Ravnica and Theros. The Ravnica bit came true, so I'm assuming the Theros bit will be too. The next time I checked, the article had been edited and no mention of it appeared. But I know what I read. I guess she overstepped her bounds when she mentioned it.

Theros after Ravnica makes sense. Ravnica will be the final to the Bolas arc, it seems. With checkmarks behiing both Eldrazi and Nicol Bolas, the list of big interplanar villain names to take care of goes down to New Phyrexia. And if you want to do that story, then you might very well start with getting the lost anti-Phyrexian planeswalker out of the Theran underworld.
Update: Since the set is filling out, here is a little experiment I did with regards to the argument that we will return to Theros because we get so many devotion-friendly cards with color-heavy mana costs. So I used that idea to predict that the cycle of CCDD uncommons would be exclusively permanents (since instants/sorceries won't count towards devotion as they don't enter the battlefield), so that worked out - following the example of the CCC creatures from Dominaria.
So, this should hold for another set, as I expect the cycle to be continued.
Return to Theros seems reasonable, though I expect a return to New Phyrexia soon as well. Once Bolas is defeated (and what a spectacle that will be to behold), Tezzeret and Liliana both will be free to pursue their own agendas. By the sounds of it Liliana's finally ready to start being a real friend, so she'll hopefully go back to the Gatewatch. Tezzeret I expect will make use of that Planar Bridge to bring Phyrexians to other planes, provided they acknowledge him as the Father of Machines, effectively kicking off a new story arc centering around Tezzeret and the Phyrexians as the central antagonists. Ajani will want to help Elspeth so she can in turn help them fight the Phyrexians, thus a return to Theros. I also expect returns to Kaladesh, Zendikar, Innistrad, and Alara, interspersed with new worlds such as Vryn, capping off with a battle on New Phyrexia.
And of course Ob Nixilis will seek revenge against the Gatewatch at some point, and likely pull Nahiri into the conflict by telling her about the Gatewatch's role in the whole Eldrazi fiasco, with some alterations of course, to manipulate her into fighting the Gatewatch with the intention that one will destroy the other, leaving the survivor weakened enough for Nixilis to finish off.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

Finally a good white villain quote: "So, do I ever re-evaluate my life choices? Never, because I know what I'm doing is a righteous cause."
